These are carts that were filled with sponsorships, tickets to game night, tickets to kitten party, and/or raffle tickets.
At the highest peak, we could have brought in an extra €880 if the clients didn’t abandon the carts.
Take-away: Raffles and specific stories bring in more money— and we knew this, so we leaned into it in 2020!
Goal 2021: Create more narratives on individual cases that generate higher donations at a higher rate.
Ideas to do so: fuller story engagement on social media, blog posts, updates in FB groups.

NOTES: Time management should be refocused to growing our foster network to allow us to bring on more animals. Less time should be given to trying to get volunteers involved.

Notes: BUTTON clicks are a great way to track what exactly people are interested in. I will revisit the website to make sure we’re able to do better traffic tracking for 2021.
Take-away: Again, stories are our highest traffic-driver. The more people who come to our site, the more donations we get, and the more adoptions that happen!
Goal 2021: Drive more people to the website by using storytelling.

Data is drawn from previous years and experience. 2020 was a bit different because of the pandemic and quarantine measures, but we’ve lived and learned and I think this is a rough calculation of how our calendar will look in 2021.
Finance: We can count on a large intake around my birthday (July 7) an in December with Holiday Sponsors.
How can we apply these methods to other months?
Last year we struggled with fundraising for both TNR and Kitten Season. We need to better plan fundraisers to ensure that we don’t need to do it during the middle of it.
Foster Network: We need to build and strengthen our foster network for better, easier, foster-finding.
Ideas to increase number of fosters: 1x / month tutorial on fostering, following up with either video uploaded home tours to the website, or individual, virtual home tours.
Strengthening network: more engagement in FB group…? Not sure!
More workers/less work: adding more foster coordinators! Divide and concur tasks— interviewing fosters, home tours, contract signing, etc.
Transportation: creating a FB group/whatsapp group/online scheduling app to allow people to volunteer their time by driving. Can be used for TNR, vet apts, etc. Very helpful during all 3 seasons of Gatalunya!
