Personality: Bobby was a big attention-seeker for pats back when he was living in the streets a couple of years ago and things aren't much different now that he is an indoor cat. The boy is a certified smooch! 😘 He loves receiving affection and once he’s had his fill of chin and head scratches, he’ll roll onto his back begging for a tummy rub. In return, he makes for an excellent sofa and bed cuddle companion, and will give you eye-blink kisses to keep your love cup filled up. And he takes his biscuit-making responsibilities seriously, particularly if you provide him with a nice plushy blanket as his working space. He wants to be someone’s special favourite and be by your side, day and night. Need a nose kiss to make your day 100% better? Bobby’s got you.

He’s also a fun cat and loves to play, and is very curious of the things around him; he enjoys being in the middle of things. He likes to have energetic play sessions with his humans so he can have a good run-around and keep up with his fitness goals. He prefers feather toys above all else - chasing them and parkouring off a wall for a stylish catch - and is a fan of routine and repetition, perfecting his hunting art. If you have any string handy which you wouldn't mind wriggling around, Bobby will be sure to put that to good use. Nor will he turn down a ball or mouse every now and then, either! He can get a fright with loud noises but adapts quickly to new spaces and people, and if a cat can be a “people person,” that’s Bobby. He might be nervous around strangers to start with but if you’ve got guests over, watch for a curious face appearing after a period. Charm offensive, incoming! 🥰 More people to pet him and tell him he’s the cutest!

You will fall in love with Bobby’s cute, tiny meow and how he likes to walk with you, flirting and winding his way around your legs. He’s a connection-seeker, a cuddly boy with an occasional strong-willed side which keeps him from being a total pushover, and the very definition of a Good Boy.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: Bobby is better as the first cat in the home.

Can Iive with kids? Yes

Can live with other animals? We haven’t trialled him with dogs, but this is a possibility with the right fit and introductions. Bobby is a great friend to other cats but does prefer to establish himself first in the home. He loves feline company so his dream scenario would be if you were open to inviting playful kitten into your lives in future.

Ideal home: Bobby would be happiest in a lively and loving household where people are frequently at home, and he can be in the midst of things. He will want to play, and get attention from his family and any visitors they might have. He would love a little feline brother or sister in the future. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Hace un par de años, cuando vivía en la calle, Bobby era un gran buscador de mimos, y ahora que es un gato indoor las cosas no han cambiado mucho. ¡El chico es un besucón certificado! 😘 Le encanta recibir afecto y, una vez que ha recibido mimos suficientes en la barbilla y la cabeza, se pone boca arriba pidiendo un masaje en la barriga. A cambio, es un excelente compañero cariñoso en el sofá y en la cama, y te dará besos con los ojos parpadeando para mantener tu taza de amor llena. Y se toma muy en serio su responsabilidad de hacer croquetas, sobre todo si le proporcionas una bonita manta peluda como espacio de trabajo. Quiere ser el preferido de alguien y estar a tu lado día y noche. ¿Necesitas un beso en la nariz para que tu día sea 100% mejor? Bobby está hecho para ti.

También es un gato divertido, le encanta jugar y es muy curioso con las cosas que le rodean; le gusta estar en medio de todo. Le gusta tener sesiones de juego enérgico con sus humanos para poder corretear y mantenerse en forma. Prefiere los juguetes de plumas por encima de todo, persiguiéndolos y haciendo gran saltos en una pared para atraparlos con estilo, y es un fanático de la rutina y la repetición, perfeccionando su arte de caza. Si tienes alguna cuerda a mano que no te importe ofrecerl, seguro que Bobby le da un buen uso. Tampoco rechazará una pelota o un ratón de vez en cuando. Puede asustarse con los ruidos fuertes, pero se adapta rápidamente a nuevos espacios y personas. Un gato sociable y de las personas: ése es Bobby. Puede que se ponga nervioso con los extraños al principio, pero si tienes invitados en casa, estate atento por si aparece una cara curiosa después de un punto. Ofensiva de encanto, ¡entrante! 🥰 ¡Más gente para acariciarle y decirle que es el más mono!

Te enamorarás del dulce y diminuto maullido de Bobby y de cómo le gusta pasear contigo, coqueteando y serpenteando entre tus piernas. Busca la conexión, es un chico mimoso con un lado de fuerza de voluntad ocasional que le impide ser un pusilánime total, y la definición misma de un buen chico.

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Bobby preferiría ser el primer gato que llega a casa.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sin probar con perros, pero creemos que estaría muy bien con la presentación bien hecha. Bobby es un gran amigo de otros gatos, pero prefiere establecerse primero en el hogar. Le encanta la compañía felina por lo que su situación ideal sería si estuvieras abierto a invitar un gatito juguetón en vuestra vida en el futuro.

Hogar ideal: Bobby sería más feliz en un hogar animado y cariñoso donde la gente esté frecuentemente en casa, y él pueda estar en medio de las cosas. Querrá jugar y recibir atención de su familia y de las visitas que puedan recibir. Le encantaría tener un hermanito o hermanita felina en el futuro. Un balcón o terraza siempre es una ventaja.
