Personality: Camelia is bold, empowered, and sweet. She’s tiny, but she has learned how to subtly become the center of attention and make you fall in love to get what she wants at any moment. Who could say “no” when looking at that little face? 🌸

She’s playful and goes crazy for wand toys: a true huntress. She comes running as soon as she hears someone pick one up and never gets tired of playing. At the same time, she’s extremely clever: she managed to solve a treat puzzle 🧩 that her foster brother hadn’t figured out in months. Her foster mom is also teaching her some tricks with her favorite treats.

She’s very affectionate with other cats and with people. She’ll follow you everywhere with little meows, asking for belly rubs or maybe an extra portion of wet food. And wet food is her absolute favorite! She never settles for her own portion and will even try to steal her brother’s. Daring in every sense, she’s not afraid of new situations.

She’s very easy to win over: a feather toy, some tasty treats, or simply calling her and making eye contact—she knows exactly how to charm her way closer and soak up all the affection. She loves scratches on her backside (she’ll lift it to show you and encourage you to keep going), and if you offer her your hand, she’ll nuzzle it with her tiny head. The only thing she’ll do then is purr and purr! prrrrrr 😻

Her daily plans never fail to include:

1️⃣ Playing with a ball tower—a silly little game, but one that keeps her perfectly entertained.

2️⃣ Getting the maximum amount of liquid snacks (churu). She’s figured out that biting the tube gets her more than just licking it 😹

Camelia and her siblings were found in a municipal storage warehouse in a small town. There are several cats there, and we’ve started a spay-and-neuter program this season to prevent further animal suffering. Among them were these four little ones, and although we tried to catch the mother, it wasn’t possible. We’ll keep trying to find her to avoid new litters.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: her brother Bambú.

Can Iive with kids? Yes!

Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine.

Ideal home: Living with Bambú in any kind of family, be that with a single person, couple, or home with children. Please note that we give priority to people with another compatible cat or adopting a pair of kittens.

A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Camelia es atrevida, empoderada y dulce. Es pequeñita, pero ha aprendido como de forma sutil ser el centro de atención y enamorarte para conseguir lo que quiere en cada momento. ¿Quién podría decirle “no” al mirar esa carita? 🌸

Es juguetona y se vuelve loca con los juguetes tipo “varita”: una auténtica cazadora. Viene corriendo cuando oye que alguien los recoge y nunca se cansa del juego. A la misma vez, es extremadamente lista: consiguió resolver un rompecabezas 🧩 de golosinas que su hermano de acogida no había resuelto en meses. También su mamá de acogida le está enseñando algunos trucos con las golosinas que más le gustan.

Es muy cariñosa con otros gatos y con las personas. Te seguirá a todas partes con pequeños maullidos para que le rasques la barriga, también para que conseguir una ración extra de comida húmeda. Y es qué le encanta ¡la comida húmeda! 😋 Nunca se conforma con su propia ración y es capaz de robarle a su hermano. Demasiado atrevida en todos los sentidos, por algo no teme a situaciones nuevas.

Es muy fácil de conquistar: un juguete con plumas, unas buenas chuches o simplemente llamándola y mirándola, ella sabe como desenvolverse para acercarse y recibir todos los mimos posibles. Le encantan las caricias en su trasero (te lo levantará para mostrártelo y también para que sigas acariciándola) y también, si le enseñas tu mano, acercará su diminuta cabeza para frotarse contra ella. ¡Solo hará que ronronear y ronronear! prrrrrr 😻

Los planes que no faltan en su día a día:

1️⃣ Divertirse con una torre de pelotas, un juego un poco tonto pero que la tiene bien entretenida.

2️⃣ Conseguir la máxima ración de snack líquido (churu). Ha aprendido que puede sacar más dosis si muerde en envase en vez de ir chupando 😹

Camelia y sus hermanos estaban en un almacén de la brigada municipal de un pueblo, allí hay varios gatos que hemos empezado a castrar esta temporada para evitar más sufrimiento animal. Había estos 4 peques y aunque intentamos coger a la mamá, no fue posible. Seguiremos tras ella para intentar evitar nuevas camadas.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí!

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema. 

Hogar ideal: Vivir con Bambú, con cualquier tipo de familia, ya sea un(a) solter@, una pareja o un hogar con niños. Por favor, ten en cuenta que damos prioridad a personas ya con otr@ gat@ compatible residente o que adopten a una pareja.

¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre una ventaja!
