Personality: This beautiful, one-eyed black beauty has traded the tough life of the streets for the comforts of a cozy foster home—and she couldn’t be happier!
Chicorina was born with a single eye but, even though she has one headlight, she doesn’t let that get in her way! She’s perfectly happy, healthy, and capable of living a normal life without it!
Even while living outdoors, Chicorina was always a social butterfly, and now, in her foster home, she’s blossomed into a soft, goofy, and affectionate companion. This sweet girl loves to lounge on the bed during the day, gaze out the window at birds, and even enjoys curling up to watch nature documentaries!
Chicorina has perfected the art of the head bump—when she wants attention, she’ll gently press her head into your hand to make sure she gets her well-deserved pets. She’s a loving, determined little lady who knows how to ask for what she wants!
With her own unique voice, Chicorina is quite the conversationalist. She’ll happily chat with you and respond to changes in your tone, especially when it’s time to remind you that breakfast is overdue! And don't be surprised if she follows you to the bathroom—she believes it’s the perfect time for extra belly rubs and some company while exploring (though she’s not too sure about those cold tiles or the bathtub just yet!).
Life with Chicorina is never boring! Her quirky, playful side comes out in the form of zoomies around the house, often in the most comical, cartoon-like fashion. Although she’s young at heart and full of energy, your furniture is safe—she prefers to keep her antics low to the ground before retreating to the bed or sofa for a nap.
If you’re looking for a loving, entertaining, and loyal companion, Chicorina is your girl. She’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of head bumps into her forever home!
Can Iive with kids? Yes, but preferably with kids 7 and older who respect animals.
Can live with other animals? Chicorina is independent and would love to be the center of attention in a quiet household. However, if you already have a dominant cat that’s looking for a companion, Chicorina could be the perfect match! With some time and patience, she could adapt to living with another feline.
As for dogs, Chicorina would need some time to adjust to a friendly, lazy dog, but she’s a brave girl, and we’re confident that with a bit of patience, she could make it work.
Ideal home: Chicorina’s ideal home would be a home with one with a parent that works from home that can give her all the attention she deserves. She would love to be able to spend long, cozy nights on the couch watching Netflix and lazy sunny days lounging on a (well-protected!!) terrace.

Personalidad: Esta preciosa gatita negra, que solo tiene un ojo, ha dejado atrás la dura vida de la calle y ahora disfruta de la comodidad de un hogar de acogida, ¡y no podría estar más feliz!
Chicorina nació con un solo ojo, pero, aunque solo tiene "un faro", ¡eso no le impide hacer su vida! Es perfectamente feliz, saludable y capaz de llevar una vida normal sin él.
Incluso cuando vivía en la calle, Chicorina siempre fue muy sociable, y ahora, en su hogar de acogida, se ha convertido en una compañera dulce, divertida y muy cariñosa. Esta adorable gata adora tumbarse en la cama durante el día, mirar por la ventana a los pájaros e, incluso, acurrucarse para ver documentales de naturaleza.
Chicorina ha perfeccionado el arte del “cabezazo” —cuando quiere mimos, te dará un suave empujón con la cabeza para asegurarse de recibir las caricias que se merece. Es una gatita amorosa y decidida, ¡y sabe muy bien cómo pedir lo que quiere!
Con su peculiar maullido, Chicorina es toda una conversadora. Le encanta “charlar” contigo y responder a los cambios en tu tono de voz, sobre todo cuando es el momento de recordarte que el desayuno ya llega tarde. Y no te sorprendas si te sigue al baño—para ella, es el momento perfecto para pedir más caricias y hacerte compañía mientras explora, aunque aún no está muy segura de esas baldosas frías o de la bañera.

Aunque es joven de espíritu y llena de energía, tus muebles están a salvo—prefiere hacer sus travesuras a ras del suelo antes de volver a la cama o al sofá para echar una siesta.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí, con niños mayores (7 o mas.)
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Chicorina es independiente y le encantaría ser el centro de atención en un hogar tranquilo. Sin embargo, si ya tienes un gato dominante que esté buscando un compañero, ¡Chicorina podría ser la pareja perfecta! Con algo de tiempo y paciencia, ella podría adaptarse a convivir con otro felino.
