Personality: Ecka is calm and patient. She likes to take a few moments to observe and understand what's happening around her—who you are, what's going on, and whether everything is safe. Once she decides to take that small leap of faith, you'll discover an incredibly sweet, affectionate little cat who has a very special way of enjoying life's simple moments. 💛
Her name is inspired by the Sanskrit word eka, meaning "one," "unique," and "complete." ✨ It was chosen with the hope that she would grow into a confident, independent, and truly happy cat. Little by little, Ecka seems to be finding her way there.
She absolutely adores her fluffy bed, so you'll often find her curled up there in a cozy little ball. No matter how warm it is, she simply loves that soft fabric—perhaps because it reminds her of her mother. She happily kneads with her tiny front paws while purring away. Those are some of her favorite moments to receive gentle strokes and the occasional little kiss. 😽 She isn't a cat who constantly demands attention, but once she trusts someone, those quiet moments together become some of her greatest joys.
Like any kitten, she's also endlessly curious about everything around her. When she sees the other cats playing, she'll watch them carefully at first. But curiosity soon gets the better of her, and before long she's happily running over to join in, delighted to be part of the fun and the feline family. And when the others are resting, she's perfectly content entertaining herself with her toys. She's an independent little girl, but she loves feeling like she belongs.
There's a shortcut straight to Ecka's heart: food. 😋 Treats are her greatest weakness and by far the easiest way to earn her trust. Thanks to that, even trips to the vet are much easier than you might expect. Even when something makes her a little nervous, she shows remarkable calmness and bravery for such a young kitten. 💪
Some relationships simply need a little more time to begin, but when they do, they're the kind that stay with you forever. 💛 Ecka just needs someone who will respect her pace and allow her to discover, in her own time, that it's safe to trust. Behind that cautious first glance is a gentle, courageous companion full of love, ready to fill her future home with purrs and countless precious little moments. 🏡
Ecka was rescued from an outdoor parking lot, where she was surviving completely alone among the cars. She was terrified of people and would hide beneath engines and between the wheels. We have sadly lost other cats there to traffic, so the moment we saw her, we knew we couldn't leave her behind. Despite such a difficult start in life, she has never lost her desire to play, to love, or to believe that the world can also be a safe place. We hope that the next time she looks around, it will be to discover that she is finally home 💛🐾
Medical note: Ecka has a small umbilical hernia, most likely congenital. It will be repaired while she is under anesthesia for her spay surgery at around 5–6 months of age. It does not require any special care either now or after the procedure.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: Ecka doesn't have any siblings, but she gets along wonderfully with other cats and would easily adapt to a home with a resident feline companion.
Can Iive with kids? Yes, with the necessary adaptation
Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine.
Ideal home: She would do well with any type of family, whether it's a single person, a couple, or a larger family. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Cuando decide dar ese pequeño paso de confianza, descubres a una gatita increíblemente dulce, cariñosa y con una forma muy especial de disfrutar de los pequeños momentos 💛
Su nombre está inspirado en la palabra sánscrita eka, que significa "uno", "único" y "completo" ✨ Elegido con el deseo de verla crecer hasta convertirse en una gata segura de sí misma, independiente y plenamente feliz. Y, poco a poco, Ecka parece estar recorriendo ese camino.
Adora su camita peluda, así que fácilmente la encontraras hecha un ovillo en ese rincón. No importa el calor, realmente adora ese tejido, seguramente le recuerda a su mamá. Siempre está amasando con sus patitas delanteras mientras ronronea felizmente. Es uno de esos momentos en los que más disfruta de unas caricias suaves y de algún que otro besito 😽 No es una gata que reclame atención constantemente, pero cuando confía en alguien, esos pequeños instantes compartidos se convierten en uno de sus mayores placeres.
Como buena cachorrita, también tiene una enorme curiosidad por todo lo que la rodea. Cuando ve a otros gatos jugando, primero los observa con atención. La curiosidad acaba ganando la partida y enseguida corre a unirse a ellos, feliz de formar parte de la diversión y de la manada. Cuando los demás descansan, tampoco tiene problema en entretenerse sola con sus juguetes. Es una gatita independiente, pero le encanta sentirse parte de la familia gatuna.
Hay un atajo directo al corazón de Ecka: la comida 😋 Los premios son su debilidad y la forma más sencilla de ganarse su confianza. Gracias a ello, incluso las visitas al veterinario resultan mucho más fáciles de lo que cabría esperar: aunque algo le dé respeto, demuestra una tranquilidad y una valentía sorprendentes para una gatita tan pequeña 💪
Hay relaciones que necesitan un poco más de tiempo para empezar, pero cuando lo hacen, son de las que dejan huella 💛 Ecka solo necesita que respeten su ritmo y le permitan descubrir, a su manera, que puede confiar. Detrás de esa primera mirada prudente se esconde una compañera tranquila, valiente y llena de ternura, capaz de llenar de ronroneos y pequeños momentos especiales el hogar de quien decida caminar a su lado 🏡
Ecka fue rescatada de un parking exterior, sobrevivía completamente sola entre los coches y tenía mucho miedo de las personas, así que se escondía entre motores y las ruedas. Allí ya hemos perdido a otros gatos por atropellos, así que en cuanto la vimos supimos que no podíamos dejarla atrás. Pese ese comienzo difícil, nunca ha perdido las ganas de jugar, de querer y de creer que el mundo también puede ser un lugar seguro Ojalá la próxima vez que mire a su alrededor sea para descubrir que, por fin, está en casa 💛🐾
Nota médica: Ecka tiene una pequeña hernia umbilical, probablemente de nacimiento. Se corregirá aprovechando la anestesia de su esterilización, alrededor de los 5-6 meses de edad. No requiere cuidados especiales ni ahora ni después de la intervención.
Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Ecka no tiene hermanos, pero convive muy bien con otros gatos así que fácilmente se adaptaría a un hogar con un gato residente.
¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí, con la debida presentación.
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema.
Hogar ideal: Vivir con otro gato(s) compatible(s) con cualquier tipo de familia, ya sea un(a) solter@, una pareja o una familia más grande. ¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre una ventaja!
