Personality: Jack is a quiet, sensitive soul with a very tender heart. He is needy, but nervous. Now separated from his three bio sisters, he is a foster brother to Leo, Orión and Lyra and has integrated beautifully into the family group and clearly draws comfort and confidence from feline companionship. He has gone from being the little prince amongst three princesses in his biological family, to having both foster brothers and a sister. He is currently the most nervous of this group of kittens and is still learning to fully trust people, but his progress - though slow - is sincere and meaningful. He is moving forward, never back.

Jack is a quieter, observant little gentleman 🧐 He watches the world carefully, taking everything in before deciding it’s safe. No cat is a fan of closed doors and Jack is no exception, he’ll let you know he wants in NOW with his surprisingly powerful meows - communication is one of his strengths. He is deeply affectionate with his cat companions and shows his love through constant grooming and snuggling with his foster siblings. Their presence is a huge source of reassurance for him. This neediness we see in him is what makes us see the Jack who is to come, the Jack-in-waiting. As soon as he connects with his human for life, they are going to be incredibly bonded.

Food is Jack’s great joy and one of the best ways to reach him. He loves all food, at all times, especially delicious wet food. He will rub against your legs and meow insistently if preparation takes too long, and a liquid snack can melt his “tough guy” posturing in seconds. During these moments, his softer side shines through.

Jack enjoys playtime, particularly with fast-moving wand toys. He’s a big fan of high octane playtime 🚀⚡He also has a playful streak that appears at bedtime, when feet under blankets may be mistaken for toys 😼

When it comes to comfort, Jack seeks warmth and security. You’ll usually find him curled up in a sunny spot or tucked under the blankets in bed. He loves chin and head scratches, and when he allows them, he closes his eyes completely, revealing just how much he enjoys gentle affection. Afterward, he may retreat again into his more guarded ways - but each interaction builds trust.

Jack is a sweet, photogenic baby who is slowly emerging from his shell. He needs a home filled with patience, kindness, and understanding. Ideally he would like another friendly cat to help guide him, although we also think that he would do well as an only kitten; transferring his emotional support needs from his foster siblings to a human would be a great way to break down his final walls. For the right person - someone willing to take things step by step - Jack will be a deeply rewarding companion, offering a soft, steady kind of love once his trust is earned 🐾💛

He and his sisters (Charlotte, Lily and Jill) were born in a street cat colony. By following a TNR (Trap–Neuter–Release) program, many of the cats in the area have already been sterilized. Their mother, clever and protective, kept them hidden until they were big enough to venture out. Now she herself is starting to trust people, and we hope to also be able to bring her in with us this winter, and find her a home as well.

Can Iive with kids? Yes, though we think that initially Jack would prefer a quieter home with adults

Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine.

Ideal home: To live with one of his siblings or another compatible cat(s), with a single person or couple. Please note that we give priority to people who already have a compatible resident cat or who adopt a pair. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Jack es un alma tranquila y sensible con un corazón muy tierno. Es pegajoso, pero nervioso. Ahora separado de sus tres hermanas biológicas, es hermano de acogida de Leo, Orión y Lyra, y se ha integrado maravillosamente en el grupo familiar, donde claramente encuentra consuelo y confianza en la compañía felina. Ha pasado de ser el principito entre tres princesas en su familia biológica a tener hermanos y una hermana de acogida. Actualmente es el más nervioso de este grupo de gatitos y todavía está aprendiendo a confiar plenamente en las personas, pero su progreso, aunque lento, es sincero y significativo. Va hacia adelante, nunca hacia atrás.

Jack es un pequeño caballero más tranquilo y observador 🧐 Observa el mundo con atención, asimilando todo antes de decidir que es seguro. A ningún gato le gustan las puertas cerradas y Jack no es una excepción, te hará saber que quiere entrar YA con sus maullidos sorprendentemente potentes: la comunicación es uno de sus puntos fuertes. Es muy cariñoso con sus compañeros felinos y muestra su amor acicalándolos constantemente y acurrucándose con sus hermanitos de acogida. Su presencia es una gran fuente de tranquilidad para él. Esta necesidad que vemos en él es lo que nos hace ver al Jack que está por venir, el Jack que está en camino. Tan pronto como conecte con su humano definitivo, se creará un vínculo increíble entre ellos.

La comida es la gran alegría de Jack y una de las mejores formas de ganarse su confianza. Le encanta todo tipo de comida, en cualquier momento, especialmente la deliciosa comida húmeda. Se frotará contra tus piernas y maullará insistentemente si la preparación tarda demasiado, y un aperitivo líquido puede derretir su postura de «tipo duro» en segundos. En esos momentos, su lado más tierno sale a relucir.

A Jack le gusta jugar, sobre todo con juguetes de caña que se mueven rápido. Es un gran fanático de los juegos de alta velocidad 🚀⚡ También tiene una vena juguetona que aparece a la hora de acostarse, cuando los pies bajo las mantas pueden confundirse con juguetes 😼

En cuanto a la comodidad, Jack busca calidez y seguridad. Normalmente lo encontrarás acurrucado en un lugar soleado o metido bajo las mantas de la cama. Le encanta que le rasquen la barbilla y la cabeza, y cuando lo permite, cierra los ojos por completo, revelando lo mucho que disfruta del cariño. Después, puede que vuelva a mostrarse más reservado, pero cada interacción refuerza la confianza.

Jack es un gatito dulce y fotogénico que poco a poco está saliendo de su caparazón. Necesita un hogar lleno de paciencia, amabilidad y comprensión. Lo ideal sería que tuviera otro gato amigable que le guiara, aunque también creemos que le iría bien ser el único gatito; transferir sus necesidades de apoyo emocional de sus hermanos de acogida a un/a humanx sería una forma estupenda de derribar sus últimas barreras. Para la persona adecuada, alguien dispuesto a ir paso a paso, Jack será un compañero profundamente gratificante, que ofrecerá un gran amor una vez que se haya ganado su confianza 🐾💛

Él y sus hermanos (Lily, Charlotte y Jill) nacieron en una colonia de gatos callejeros. Gracias al programa CER (capturar-esterilizar-retornar), muchos de los gatos de la zona ya han sido esterilizados. Su madre, inteligente y protectora, los mantuvo ocultos hasta que fueron lo suficientemente grandes como para aventurarse fuera. Ahora ella misma está empezando a confiar en las personas, y esperamos poder acogerla también este invierno y encontrarle un hogar.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí, aunque creemos que Jack preferiría un hogar más tranquilo con adultos de momento.

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema.
