Jack

Personality: Jack is a cat who lives life to the fullest. He plays hard, loves hard, and naps hard 😹 We first met him when a teammate was feeding one of her cat colonies. He came right up to her and another volunteer and started smooching all around their legs. It was very clear immediately that he wasn't a colony cat, and had been raised around humans. She scooped him up and took him home.

Once there, she discovered that Jack wasn't a big fan of alone time. He trotted after her to the toilet, slept on the bed, and basically made himself right at home. This is a boy who likes company - cat, human, or other. He's in another foster home now and has settled in quickly, so adaptability is also a strength.

Jack has different "modes" depending on the time of day. In the morning and in the evening - the usual times of day when cats "activate" 😹 - he's extremely playful, an energetic chap who's ready to show off his moves. When those moments hit, you'll know it! He loves to play, loves to run about, loves to live! The rest of the day, he is super calm, relaxed, lazy, and very often cuddly. In the afternoons, he comes to sit on your lap and starts making biscuits to show how content he is. A lovely way to spend some time 🥰 Jack also clearly misses you when you're out and will come and greet you and likes to have a cuddle when you get home. He's not much for meowing though, except when he sees that his wet food is coming. Then he has quite a lot to say 🤭

Jack is a sweet boy with a mix of energies - a great bed buddy, as well as playmate.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: Jack is being fostered alone but if you were interested in adopting two, Bunny would be a good personality match.

Can Iive with kids? Yes, though he can be an enthusiastic player so older children would be better

Can live with other animals? Yes. We think that Jack would do really well with a playmate who likes to run around with him, be that a cat or dog. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine with the right introductions.

Ideal home: Jack would be great with any kind of family: a single person, couple, or a larger family with kids. We think he would prefer a more lively household, though will do well wherever he is.

A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Jack es un gato que vive la vida al máximo. Juega mucho, ama mucho y duerme muchas siestas 😹 Lo conocimos cuando una compañera de equipo estaba alimentando a una de sus colonias de gatos. Se acercó a ella y a otra voluntaria y empezó a besarles las piernas. Enseguida quedó claro que no era un gato de colonia y que se había criado entre humanos. Lo cogió y se lo llevó a casa.

Una vez allí, descubrió que a Jack no le gustaba estar solo. La siguió al baño, durmió en la cama y se sintió como en casa. Es un chico al que le gusta la compañía, ya sea de gatos, humanos u otros. Ahora está en otra casa de acogida y se ha adaptado rápidamente, por lo que la adaptabilidad también es un punto fuerte.

Jack tiene diferentes "modos" dependiendo de la hora del día. Por la mañana y por la noche - los momentos del día en los que los gatos suelen "activarse"😹 - es extremadamente juguetón, un tipo enérgico dispuesto a mostrarte sus skills. Cuando lleguen esos momentos, ¡lo sabrás! Le encanta jugar, corretear y vivir la vida. El resto del día, es súper tranquilo, relajado, perezoso y muy a menudo mimoso. Por las tardes, viene a sentarse en tu regazo y empieza a hacer croquetas para demostrarte lo contento que está. Una forma encantadora de pasar el tiempo 🥰 Jack también te echa claramente de menos cuando estás fuera y viene a saludarte y le gusta que le des mimos cuando llegas a casa. Sin embargo, no es muy de charlar, excepto cuando ve que llega su comida húmeda. Entonces sus maullidos tienen mucho que decir 🤭

Jack es un chico dulce con una mezcla de energías - un gran compañero de cama, así como compañero de juegos.

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Jack está en acogida como gato único pero si estuvieras interesad@ en adoptar a dos, Bunny sería un buen match por personalidad.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí, aunque puede ser un jugador entusiasta, por lo que los niños mayores serían mejores.

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. Creemos que a Jack le iría muy bien con un compañero de juegos al que le guste correr con él, ya sea un gat@ o un perr@. No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema. 

Hogar ideal: Jack sería genial con cualquier tipo de familia: una persona soltera, una pareja o una familia grande con niños. Creemos que preferiría un hogar más animado, aunque le irá bien dondequiera que esté.
