Personality: Jill is a goofy, gentle sweetheart who is still finding her confidence. She tends to observe her sisters first, watching carefully before deciding to join in. With time, patience, and trust, she will come in for face scratches and pats, particularly when you’re in bed or when you meet her at her level on the floor. She is the “big sister” of the family, with a caretaker nature and wanting to be sure that everything feels safe for everyone. She loves looking after her sisters Charlotte and Lily, grooming them and curling up beside them. Though she’s reserved at first, once she feels safe she turns into a sweet, loving cat. She enjoys chin rubs, head scratches, and even belly pats - she just needs a little time to open up ❤️

She may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but this is very much part of her charm. Watching Jill during active play is endlessly funny and endearing: she gives everything her absolute best effort, even if the coordination doesn’t quite match her ambition. In her own mind she’s a fierce, agile hunter, but in reality she’s a slightly clumsy goof, all big pumpkin-orange eyes and earnest determination. When she relaxes, her shyness melts away and her playful side shines through.

Jill is a gentle, sweet girl who will thrive with more one-on-one attention to bring her fully out of her shell.

She and her siblings (Charlotte, Lily and Jack: Jack is being fostered separately now) were born in a street cat colony. By following a TNR (Trap–Neuter–Release) program, many of the cats in the area have already been sterilized. Their mother, clever and protective, kept them hidden until they were big enough to venture out. Now she herself is starting to trust people, and we hope to also be able to bring her in with us this winter, and find her a home as well.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: one of her siblings, Lily, Charlotte or Jack.

Can Iive with kids?  Jill would prefer to live with adults or calmer teenagers to begin with, though there would be no issue with children in the future.

Can live with other animals? Yes. She and her sisters have been around a small, calm dog already.

Ideal home:  Living with one of her sisters or as a single cat in a home with a single person or couple. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Jill es una gatita torpe y dulce que aún está buscando su confianza. Tiende a observar primero a sus hermanas, mirando atentamente antes de decidir unirse a ellas. Con tiempo, paciencia y confianza, se acercará para que le acaricien la cara y le den mimos, especialmente cuando estás en la cama o cuando te pones a su nivel en el suelo. Es la «hermana mayor» de la familia, con un carácter cuidadoso y deseosa de asegurarse de que todo el mundo se sienta seguro. Le encanta cuidar de sus hermanas Charlotte y Lily, acicalarlas y acurrucarse a su lado. Aunque al principio es reservada, una vez que se siente segura se convierte en una gatita dulce y cariñosa. Le gusta que le froten la barbilla, le rasquen la cabeza e incluso le acaricien la barriga, solo necesita un poco de tiempo para abrirse ❤️

Puede que no sea la más lista del grupo, pero eso forma parte de su encanto. Ver a Jill mientras juega activamente es infinitamente divertido y entrañable: se esfuerza al máximo en todo lo que hace, aunque su coordinación no esté a la altura de su ambición. En su mente, es una cazadora feroz y ágil, pero en realidad es un poco torpe, con sus grandes ojos naranjas y su determinación sincera. Cuando se relaja, su timidez se desvanece y sale a relucir su lado juguetón.

Jill es una chica dulce y gentil que enflorecerá con más atención individualizada para salir completamente de su caparazón.

Ella y sus hermanos (Lily, Charlotte y Jack: Jack está ahora en acogida por separado) nacieron en una colonia de gatos callejeros. Gracias al programa CER (capturar-esterilizar-retornar), muchos de los gatos de la zona ya han sido esterilizados. Su madre, inteligente y protectora, los mantuvo ocultos hasta que fueron lo suficientemente grandes como para aventurarse fuera. Ahora ella misma está empezando a confiar en las personas, y esperamos poder acogerla también este invierno y encontrarle un hogar.

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: uno de sus hermanos, Lily, Charlotte o Jack.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Jill preferiría vivir con adultos o adolescentes más tranquilos para empezar, aunque no habría ningún problema en convivir con niños en el futuro.

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. Ella y sus hermanas ya han estado con un perro pequeño y tranquilo.

Hogar ideal: Vivir con una de sus hermanas o como gata única con un@ solter@ o pareja. ¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre una ventaja!
