Personality: Maria is a wonderful, loving soul who craves the love and attention she's missed out on her whole young life. She sees the world through a beautiful lens, always grateful for what she's got. Even though she deserves a lot more.

We love her "I'm a big mean girl, GRRRR" reactions when you pet her as she's eating. We can't express how hilarious it is. If she had a speech bubble it would say something like "I love you but I'm EATING but also keep touching me but STOP IT I'M A FIERCE LIONESS" 😹 She manages to successfully convince you sometimes that she Does Not Want You. It's all a front and falls away in seconds: this is a girl who lives for affection, wants to wrap her way around your legs and into your heart. And she makes the sweetest trills and meows in the world. She is incredible: a sweetheart but with an edge, just how we like them.

Maria loves: treats, bounding towards you at great speed when you call for her, having her face booped and scratched alllll over, taking photos where she looks like an innocent angel (all big, round eyes). And love. Just love.

Maria doesn't like: other cats since she's a beta, not an alpha. Her sister 😹 Being left alone all the time. When birds attack her (true story).

If adopting as a pair we recommend: Maria is being fostered and can be adopted on her own.

Can Iive with kids? Yes

Can live with other animals? Maria is better as an only cat, or at least to start with. She hasn't had very good experiences with other cats to date. We aren't sure about dogs, but she's been around them before and think she'd be fine with one with the proper introductions.

Ideal home: A home with a lot of love to give, with any kind of family: a single, couple or bigger family with children would be fine.

A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Maria es un alma maravillosa y cariñosa que anhela el amor y la atención que se ha perdido toda su joven vida. Ella ve el mundo a través de una hermosa lente, siempre agradecida por lo que tiene. Aunque ella se merece mucho más.

Nos encantan sus reacciones de "Soy una chica grande y mala, GRRRR" cuando la acaricias mientras come. No podemos decirte lo divertido que es. Si tuviera un globo de diálogo, diría algo como "Te amo pero estoy COMIENDO pero también siga tocándome pero BASTA, SOY UNA LEONA FEROZ" 😹 A veces logra convencerte con éxito de que no te quiere. Es todo un frente y se desvanece en segundos: esta es una chica que vive para los mimos, quiere envolver su camino alrededor de sus piernas y en su corazón. Y ella hace los trinos y maullidos más dulces del mundo. Ella es increíble: una amorcita pero con personalidad, tal como nos gustan.

A Maria le encantan: los premios, corriendo hacia ti a gran velocidad cuando la llamas, que le caricias y le rascas toda la cara, que le hagan fotos en las que parezca un ángel inocente (toda de ojos grandes y redondos). Y amor. Amor.

A Maria no le gustan: otros gatos ya que es beta, no alfa. Su hermana 😹 Estar sola todo el día. Cuando los pájaros la atacan (historia real).

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Maria está en acogida sola y se puede adoptar sola también.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Maria preferiría ser gata única, o al menos para empezar. Ella no ha tenido muy buenas experiencias con otros gatos. En cuanto a los perros, no estamos segurxs pero ella ha estado cerca de ellos antes y creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema. 

Hogar ideal: Un hogar con mucho amor para dar, con cualquier tipo de familia: un(a) solter@, una pareja o una familia más grande.
