Milo

Personality: “Sweet,” “funny,” “dramatic,” “expressive,” “a baby in a big boy’s body” - this is how Milo is described. He is a lapcat through and through, absolutely loves being with people, and certainly doesn’t lack for personality. We usually write our cats’ profiles based on notes from their foster parents but this time, the notes are the profile. Meet Milo!
🥰 Cuddly Milo: 🫂
In the mornings he politely says hello by meowing and immediately coming over for cuddles.
He follows me around the house and wants to be wherever I am. He’s basically like Velcro and sticks to me all day. He clearly loves company and will happily “chat” throughout the day.
He purrs incredibly loudly. Honestly, like a tiny Harley Davidson engine. It’s impressive.
He adores lying on or against me while being petted. He often falls asleep like that and, if I dare to move, he’ll grumble a little in protest.
He’s been making a lot of “biscuits” lately and works very hard to complete his orders. Very dedicated employee 😂
He is such an enormous cuddle bug and absolutely thrives on attention. With new visitors he’s cautious at first, but once he’s had a proper sniff, they instantly become his best friend. He’ll happily sit right on their lap.
He loves being picked up and really enjoys looking outside together. He’s especially fascinated by the neighbors standing on their balconies.. a true little stalker cat.
When I’m working, he’ll stand next to my chair and put his paws on my thigh so he’s standing upright, just to demand attention and cuddles.
And he responds to his name! If I call him from another room, he’ll eventually come walking toward me, meowing as he makes his way over.
He loves lying on his back in general and really enjoys being petted on his chest and belly. Occasionally that turns into playtime because it clearly activates his hunting instinct.
He often keeps one eye slightly open when you’re petting him or when he’s falling asleep. Just to keep an eye on you and make sure you don’t stop 😻
🐱 “Thanks, that’s mine” Milo: 🐱
He frequently steals my spot on the couch. Eventually he’ll accept that I would like to sit there, but then he relocates to my feet and still manages to take up about 90% of the space.
Giving him a liquid snack is like handing him cocaine. He grabs your hand with his tiny paws and keeps sniffing and licking long after it’s gone, as if it might magically reappear.
😹 Funny Milo: 😹
He’s slowly starting to play more. In the beginning he’s very cautious. Lots of sniffing and checking my face to see if everything is okay, but once he’s sure, he really gets into it. So far, feather toys and crinkly toys are his absolute favorites.
He finds the front door lock, the doorbell, and the vacuum cleaner very suspicious and immediately runs to his safe spot. Once the danger has passed, he cautiously reappears with a very clear “what on earth was THAT?” expression on his face.
He loves it when the balcony door is open and a soft breeze comes in. He’ll just sit there sniffing the air. But if the wind gets too strong, he runs away instantly.
He can be a little clumsy sometimes. He likes lying right on the edge of the couch or the bed and then dramatically rolling onto his back, almost falling off in the process.
He steals the show during Zoom meetings by jumping onto the desk and then lying down on the keyboard. He seems deeply confused about why I’m talking to a screen.
If he’s upset because he’s not allowed to do something, he sometimes goes to the litter box and starts digging around like he’s redecorating it out of frustration. As if he’s dramatically throwing everything out. Two seconds later he’ll come back all sweet and innocent again😹
He sighs loudly on a regular basis, as if he’s living an extremely hard and exhausting life. It’s absolutely hilarious.
In summary, Milo is an absolutely amazing cat ❤️ He’s going to bring so much light and love and laughter to the life of a lucky someone. There’s never a dull moment with him around.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: Milo is the only cat in his foster home.
Can Iive with kids? Yes!
Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine.
Ideal home: Living with other cat or animal companions or as the only cat in the home in any kind of family, be that with a single person, couple, or home with kids. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Es un gato muy cariñoso, le encanta estar con gente y, sin duda, no le falta personalidad. Normalmente escribimos los perfiles de nuestros gatos basándonos en las notas de sus casas de acogida, pero en esta ocasión, las notas son el perfil. ¡Os presentamos a Milo!

Por las mañanas, me saluda educadamente maullando y enseguida se acerca para que lo acaricie.
Me sigue por toda la casa y quiere estar dondequiera que yo esté. Es como un velcro y se pega a mí todo el día. Es evidente que le encanta la compañía y «charla» alegremente durante todo el día.
Ronronea increíblemente fuerte. Sinceramente, como un pequeño motor Harley Davidson. Es impresionante.
Le encanta tumbarse sobre mí o junto a mí mientras le acaricio. A menudo se queda dormido así y, si me atrevo a moverme, gruñe un poco en señal de protesta.
Últimamente ha estado haciendo muchas croquetas y se esfuerza mucho por completar sus pedidos. Es un empleado muy dedicado 😂
Es un gato muy cariñoso y le encanta que le presten atención. Al principio es cauteloso con los nuevos visitantes, pero una vez que los ha olfateado bien, se convierten instantáneamente en sus mejores amigos. Se sienta felizmente en su regazo.
Le encanta que lo cojan en brazos y disfruta mucho mirando juntos por la ventana. Le fascinan especialmente los vecinos que están en sus balcones... es un auténtico cotilla.
Cuando estoy trabajando, se pone de pie junto a mi silla y pone las patas sobre mi muslo para mantenerse erguido, solo para exigir atención y mimos.
¡Y responde a su nombre! Si lo llamo desde otra habitación, al final viene hacia mí maullando mientras se acerca.
Le encanta tumbarse boca arriba y disfruta mucho cuando le acarician el pecho y la barriga. A veces eso se convierte en un momento de juego, porque claramente activa su instinto cazador.
A menudo mantiene un ojo ligeramente abierto cuando le acaricias o cuando se está quedando dormido. Solo para vigilarte y asegurarse de que no paras 😻
🐱 Milo del «Gracias, eso es mío»: 🐱
A menudo me roba mi sitio en el sofá. Al final acepta que yo quiera sentarme allí, pero entonces se traslada a mis pies y sigue ocupando aproximadamente el 90 % del espacio.
Darle un snack líquido es como darle cocaína. Te agarra la mano con sus diminutas patas y sigue olisqueando y lamiendo mucho después de que se haya acabado, como si fuera a reaparecer por arte de magia.
😹 Milo el gracioso: 😹
Poco a poco está empezando a jugar más. Al principio es muy cauteloso. Me olisquea mucho y me mira a la cara para ver si todo va bien, pero una vez que se asegura, se mete de lleno en el juego. Hasta ahora, sus juguetes favoritos son los de plumas y los que hacen ruido al arrugarlos.
Le parecen muy sospechosos el cerrojo de la puerta principal, el timbre y la aspiradora, y enseguida corre a su lugar seguro. Una vez que el peligro ha pasado, reaparece con cautela y con una expresión muy clara en su cara que dice «¿qué demonios ha sido eso?».
Le encanta cuando la puerta del balcón está abierta y entra una suave brisa. Se sienta allí y huele el aire. Pero si el viento se vuelve demasiado fuerte, sale corriendo al instante.
A veces puede ser un poco torpe. Le gusta tumbarse justo en el borde del sofá o de la cama y luego rodar dramáticamente sobre su espalda, casi cayéndose en el proceso.
Se roba el show durante las reuniones de Zoom saltando sobre el escritorio y luego tumbándose sobre el teclado. Parece profundamente confundido sobre por qué estoy hablando con una pantalla.
Si se enfada porque no le dejan hacer algo, a veces va a su arenero y empieza a excavar como si la estuviera redecorando por frustración. Como si estuviera tirando todo dramáticamente. Dos segundos después, vuelve a ser dulce e inocente😹
Suspira ruidosamente con frecuencia, como si llevara una vida extremadamente dura y agotadora. Es absolutamente divertido.
En resumen, Milo es un gato absolutamente increíble ❤️ Va a llenar de alegría, amor y risas la vida de alguien muy afortunado. Con él nunca hay un momento aburrido.
Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Milo está en acogida como gato único.
¿Puede vivir con niños? Si!
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema.
Hogar ideal: Vivir con otros animales de compañía o como gato único en casa con cualquier tipo de familia, ya sea un(a) solter@, una pareja o un hogar con niños. ¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre una ventaja!
