Personality: Ónix loves to play with balls and his brother Iglú's tail. He is quite active, and likes to play with all the cats in his foster home. He likes to transport balls or mice in his mouth. Any wand or other toy keeps him entertained!
His little voice is a feature of this sweet boy: he is a chatterbox and likes to have a conversation. If you call him by his name he answers you. He lets you do anything, you can hold him in your arms, pet any part of his body... he never protests.
He is a bit greedy, he would spend the day eating if he could! He is always aware if someone enters the kitchen and if so, his insistent voice "forces" you to give him what he wants... 😼 He always has dry food within his reach, but wet food is his weakness.
He likes to sleep in high places, like the scratching tree. And if he can sleep next to Iglú, all the better. He also sometimes sleeps with his stomach to the sky and with his arms open, a somewhat peculiar way of taking a rest! He has nice shiny black fur with some speckles.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: his foster brother, Iglú. They have developed a tight bond and enjoy each other's company very much. If one of them loses sight of the other, they meow to find each other again. They are the perfect pair!
Can Iive with kids? Yes, but would probably prefer adults and teens.
Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs, but we think he'd be fine.
Ideal home: with his brother Iglú, or another kitten or resident cat, with a couple or single person. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: A Ónix le encanta jugar con pelotas y la cola de su hermano Iglú. De hecho es bastante activo, y le gusta jugar con todos los gatos en su casa de acogida. Le gusta transportar en su boca pelotas o ratoncitos. Cualquier caña o juguete lo mantiene entretenido.
Le caracteriza su vocecita, es un parlanchín y se hace notar. Si le llamas por su nombre te contesta. Se deja hacer de todo, lo puedes coger en brazos, acariciarle cualquier parte del cuerpo... nunca protesta.
Es muy tragón, se pasaría el día comiendo. Siempre está pendiente de si alguien entra en la cocina y de ser así, su voz insistente te "obliga" a darle lo que quiere... 😼 Siempre tiene pienso a su alcance, pero la comida húmeda es su debilidad.
Le gusta dormir en sitios altos, como el árbol rascador. Y si lo hace al lado de Iglú, mejor que mejor. También a veces duerme panza arriba y con los brazos abiertos, ¡una forma un tanto peculiar de descansar! Tiene un bonito pelo negro brillante con algunas canas.
Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: su hermano de acogida, Iglú. Han desarrollado un vínculo estrecho y disfrutan mucho de la compañía del otro. Si uno de ellos pierde de vista al otro, se maullan para encontrarse de nuevo. ¡Son la pareja perfecta!
¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí. Probablemente prefiera adultos y adolescentes.
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. Sin probar con perros, pero creemos que estaría bien.
Hogar ideal: con su hermano Iglú, otro gatito o gato residente, con una pareja o solter@. ¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre un plus!
