Personality: Patata is the silliest, most curious little kitten there ever was. She will happily trot after you from room to room while you go about your day; taking an interest at everything you do— be it hanging the laundry or brushing your teeth, she’s there to monitor you and figure out how she can make those chores more fun! She demands kisses and cuddles throughout the day and somehow always manages to get her way— be it that treat she wants after dinner or that late night cuddle sesh, she’s the queen and she knows it!
She loves to purr and meow while she plays. She’s a very social girl and very much enjoys the company of other cats! She’s not a dominant personality, but she’s not timid either. She’s easy going and adaptable.
At the end of the day, all you need to say is “Patata, let’s go to bed,” and she’ll hop right into bed and sleep next to you the whole night.
Patata comes to us from a cat colony that we manage in Vinaros, Spain, about 2.5 hours from Barcelona. She appeared one day and seemed to have an injured tail, but after she was trapped and brought inside, we realized her tail was not so injured after all, but just a little curled! The vet gave it the OK, saying it seems it was a small fracture that happened as a very young kitten (this can happy when there’s a lot of kittens in one litter!) and that there was nothing to worry about going forward.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: Patata is alone in foster, but she would be great with another cat. In fact, she would prefer it! She is a very brave girl, but not dominant. She made fast friends in the colony very easily.
Can Iive with kids? Absolutely!! Patata loves to play and has a lot of energy! A kid would be Patata’s immediate best friend. We do ask that when applying with children that you tell us about their personalities in the application because, like kittens, no two are the same! ;) And we like to match based on all family member’s personalities.
Can live with other animals? Yes! Patata would be great with either other cats or a dog. She’s a very brave girl and we can see her getting along great with a doggy friend!
Ideal home: Patata’s ideal home would be one with a lot of love and time to spend with her. Perhaps a family/couple where one of the partners works from home. She would also do well with a single parent, but with a lot of time spent at home with her. Another pet sibling is a must! A small terrace or balcony where she can get some fresh air and sunshine is also important.

Personalidad: Patata es una gatita más tonta y curiosa que jamás haya existido. Ella felizmente trotará detrás de ti de habitación en habitación mientras haces tu día; se interesa por todo lo que haces, ya sea tender la ropa o cepillarte los dientes, ella está allí para monitorearte y descubrir cómo puede hacer que esas tareas sean más divertidas! Exige besos y abrazos durante todo el día y de alguna manera siempre se las arregla para salirse con la suya, ya sea ese regalo que quiere después de la cena o esa sesión de abrazos nocturna, ella es la reina y lo sabe!
Le encanta ronronear y maullar mientras juega. Es una gatita muy sociable y disfruta mucho de la compañía de otros gatos! No tiene una personalidad dominante, pero tampoco no es tímida. Ella es tranquila y adaptable.
Al final del día, todo lo que necesitas decir es "Patata, vámonos a la cama," y ella saltará directamente a la cama y dormirá a tu lado toda la noche.
Patata nos llega de una colonia de gatos que cuidamos en Vinaros, España, a unas 2,5 horas de Barcelona. Apareció un día y parecía tener una cola herida, pero después de que la atraparon y la llevaron adentro, nos dimos cuenta de que su cola no estaba tan herida después de todo, sino que solo estaba un poco enroscada! El veterinario le dio el visto bueno, diciendo que parecía que era una pequeña fractura que ocurrió cuando era una gatita muy pequeña (esto puede pasar cuando hay muchos gatitos en una camada!) y que no había nada de qué preocuparse en el futuro.
Si se adopta en pareja recomendamos: Patata está sola en acogida, pero estaría genial con otro gato. De verdad, ella lo preferiría! Es una gatita muy valiente, pero no dominante. Hizo amigos rápidos en la colonia con mucha facilidad.
¿Puedo vivir con niños? Absolutamente!! A Patata le encanta jugar y tiene mucha energía! Un niño sería el mejor amigo inmediato de Patata. Le pedimos que cuando presente una solicitud con niños, nos cuente sobre sus personalidades en la solicitud porque, al igual que los gatitos, no hay dos iguales! ;) Y nos gusta combinar según las personalidades de todos los miembros de la familia.
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí! Patata sería genial con otros gatos o con un perro. Es una gatita muy valiente y podemos ver que se lleva muy bien con un amigo perrito!
Hogar ideal: El hogar ideal de Patata sería uno con mucho amor y tiempo para pasar con ella. Tal vez una familia/pareja donde uno de los socios trabaja desde casa. También le iría bien con un padre/una madre solter@, pero con mucho tiempo en casa con ella. Otro hermano mascota es imprescindible! También es importante una pequeña terraza o balcón donde pueda tomar el sol y el aire fresco.
