Penny

Our little Lucky Penny hasn’t been as lucky as her name suggests :( She spent more than 2 years at the shelter in Cubelles, locked in a cage with over 8 other cats. When we finally found her a home, it was with a couple in Barcelona. Unfortunately this couple can no longer keep her and we are now, yet again, looking for a home for her. But this time, a forever home. She takes a long time to adjust to life in a new environment. We need a tranquil house and a new parent with the patience to let her come into her new surroundings at her own speed.

She is extremely verbal and loves to talk to you! She is most active at night and prefers to watch birds and lay in the sun all day long. She loves to play toy string with you and takes treats right out of your hand! You can earn her trust through playtime and snacks, but doesn’t yet like to be picked up. With time we know that she will come to you on her own and enjoy sitting next to you on the couch.

She would be happiest with another cat— preferably a male— and even a garden!
