Piggy

Personality: Piggy is a little floofy ball with whom you fall in love at first sight. She is quite a gourmet! The first weeks she was in her foster home it was so funny to see her eat, she would put her whole body inside the plate and seize the food, "If Cleopatra bathed in donkey milk, Piggy bathed in a plate of wet food" 😹 Her pretty white face ended up soooo dirty, she looked like she was another kitten entirely. ​​Piggy's siblings, afraid of ending up without a bite, have taught her to share and not confuse the dish with her own private swimming pool. Now she is quite a refined lady.

In her tummy there is always room for a portion of wet food or snack. She's quick to spot where the food is being prepared, she'll come over and actually cry to your face so you don't forget about her. In Piggy's life, not everything is food, she will also meow at you to get your attention and give her the cuddles and pats she needs so much. How are you going to resist?

This beautiful family was found in one of the colonies that we manage. There were two cats that we had not been able to capture to sterilize, so they gave birth among the rubble and when construction work began in the area they left the little ones behind. They were lucky to be found and kept safe. Now they are doing great and looking forward to finding their forever home. You could be the lucky one to add them to the family.

Medical note: Piggy is positive for the feline leucemia virus, also known as FeLV. Please feel free to seek more information if you’re interested to adopt her.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: Piggy is available for adoption alone or to homes with other FeLV+ (feline leukemia positive) cats.

Can Iive with kids? Yes!

Can live with other animals? With other FeLV+ cats, for sure. Untested with dogs but we think they'd be fine.

Ideal home: Living with other FeLV+ cats in any kind of family: a single person, couple, or a larger family with kids.

A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Piggy es la bolita de algodón que sólo verla enamora. Es toda una gourmet. Las primeras semanas que estaba en la casa de acogida era tan graciosa verla comer, ponía todo su cuerpo dentro del plato y se apoderaba de la comida, “Si Cleopatra se bañaba en leche de burra, ella se baña en el plato de comida húmeda” Su bonita cara blanca terminaba tooooda sucia, parecía que fuera otra gatita. Sus herman@s de Piggy, temerosos de quedarse sin probar bocado, le han enseñado a compartir y no confundir el plato con su piscina particular. Ahora es toda una señorita fina. En su barriguita siempre hay espacio para una ración de comida húmeda o snack. Ella detecta rápidamente dónde se prepara la comida, se acercará y realmente te llorará en la cara para que no te olvides de ella.

En la vida de Piggy no todo es comida, también te maullara para llamar tu atención y que les des los mimos que tanto necesita. ¿Cómo vas a resistirte?

Esta bonita familia fueron encontrados en una de las colonias que gestionamos. Había 2 gatas que no habíamos podido capturar para esterilizar, parieron entre escombros y al empezar a hacer obras en la zona dejaron a los peques atrás Tuvieron la suerte de ser encontrados y puestos a salvo Ahora están estupendos y con ganas de encontrar su forever home. Podrías ser tú el afortunado de añadirlos a la familia.

¿Puede vivir con niños? ¡Sí!

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Con otros gatos positivos a leucemia, sí! Sí, no se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema. 

Hogar ideal: Vivir para siempre con otro gato positivo con una familia de cualquier tipo: un(a) solter@, pareja, o una familia más grande con niños.
