Personality: Our little Pikacha is a spirited, independent adventurer with a big personality packed into a small, occasionally clumsy body. She is a really dynamic kitten, and will keep you endlessly entertained with her antics. If you're looking for a playful, entertaining companion who will keep you laughing every day, she might just be your perfect match 💘
🏹 Professional Toy Hunter (…in training)
The moment she hears the sound of her wand toy, her eyes get big and she goes into full hunting mode. Precision? Optional. Enthusiasm? Maximum. She may miss the toy entirely, but that never stops her commitment to the chase. Her signature move? Sprint at the “prey,” dramatically flop onto her side, and hold it hostage so it “can’t escape.” Very effective 😹
She finds entertainment in the smallest things and will happily play for hours, even a single speck of dust is worthy of her full attention.
🧦 Sock Thief Extraordinaire
Pikacha has a delightful habit of stealing socks and proudly relocating them to the living room. Think of her as your tiny, slightly chaotic laundry assistant.
🛋 Blanket Suspicion Specialist
Pikacha is an observant and curious kitten. Fluffy blankets? Highly questionable. She will leap, tiptoe, and dramatically maneuver around them as if they are traps. It’s both mysterious and hilarious.
🍽️🧐 Food Inspector & Ham Enthusiast
She takes her role as household food supervisor seriously, always checking out what you’re eating. Mealtimes are family time! Ham is a particular favorite (and she would absolutely like you to know that). When she’s been offered some, on occasion she has made sure to do a very thorough test to ensure that it is suitably dead. A good sniff, a lick, a WHACK across the room, and then some final batting it around for a bit. Once she’s sure it’s dead, a hearty feast awaits 😹
👑 Independent Queen
Pikacha is a great cat for companionship and is a lovely and non-insistent presence in the home. She isn’t a lapcat, though we don’t rule out that becoming part of her wheelhouse as she gets older. She enjoys human company and LOVES other animals who’ll play with her, but values her independent time as well. She loves curling up on the bed or tucking herself into a closet.

Pikacha, like so many cats, has an impressive ability to sense when you’re about to join an important online meeting and would like to be the star of the show! Expect enthusiastic zoomies, and perfectly timed chaotic cuteness.

Medical note: Pikacha has a wobbly walk! Unfortunately it looks like she suffered some fractures to her hip when she was very small 💔 As a result, her back legs move a bit differently than most cats. It doesn’t affect her running and playing, other than some minor clumsiness. There are further tests which could be done to determine whether a surgical intervention could help her but Pikacha has good quality of life now and there are no guarantees that a surgical intervention will improve her life. We are happy to discuss the details with anyone interested in adopting this great girl.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: Pikacha is currently being fostered alone, but if you were interested in adopting two, we have others who would be a good personality match with her.
Can Iive with kids? Yes
Can live with other animals? Yes. And Pikacha would love other animals in the home, she has very good cat manners and loves to play. She is untested with dogs but we think she'd be great.
Ideal home: Living with another compatible cat(s) or dog, in any kind of family, be that with a single person, couple, or home with kids. We will consider Pikacha as the only animal in the home, though do think she’d be happier with a playtime buddy. Please note that we give priority to people with another compatible cat or adopting a pair of kittens. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

🏹 Cazadora profesional de juguetes (…en formación)
En cuanto oye el sonido de su juguete de caña/plumas, se le abren los ojos como platos y entra en modo caza total. ¿Precisión? Opcional. ¿Entusiasmo? Máximo. Puede que falle por completo al intentar atrapar el juguete, pero eso nunca frena su empeño en la persecución. ¿Su movimiento característico? Correr a toda velocidad hacia la «presa», tirarse dramáticamente de lado y retenerla para que «no pueda escapar». Muy eficaz 😹
Encuentra diversión en las cosas más pequeñas y juega felizmente durante horas; incluso una sola mota de polvo merece toda su atención.
🧦 Ladrona de calcetines extraordinaria
Pikacha tiene la encantadora costumbre de robar calcetines y trasladarlos con orgullo al salón. Piensa en ella como tu pequeña y ligeramente caótica ayudante de la colada.
🛋 Especialista en sospechar de las mantas
Pikacha es una gatita observadora y curiosa. ¿Mantas mullidas? Muy sospechosas. Saltará, caminará de puntillas y maniobrará dramáticamente a su alrededor como si fueran trampas. Es a la vez misterioso y divertidísimo.
🍽️🧐 Inspectora de comida y entusiasta del jamón
Se toma muy en serio su papel de supervisora de la comida en casa y siempre está pendiente de la comida disponible en casa 👀 ¡La hora de comer es un momento para estar en familia! El jamón es uno de sus platos favoritos (y quiere que lo sepas sin lugar a dudas). Cuando le han ofrecido un poco, en alguna ocasión se ha asegurado de hacer una prueba muy minuciosa para comprobar que está bien muerto. Un buen olfateo, un lametón, un GOLPE al otro lado de la habitación y, luego, unos cuantos golpecitos más para jugar un rato. Una vez que está segura de que está muerto, le espera un festín abundante 😹
👑 Reina independiente
Pikacha es una gata estupenda para tener como compañía y es una presencia encantadora y nada insistente en casa. No es una gata de regazo, aunque no descartamos que eso forme parte de su repertorio a medida que se haga mayor. Disfruta de la compañía humana y ADORA a otros animales que jueguen con ella, pero también valora su tiempo a solas. Le encanta acurrucarse en la cama o meterse en un armario.
💻 «Asistente» de la oficina en casa
Pikacha, como tantos otros gatos, tiene una impresionante habilidad para intuir cuándo estás a punto de unirte a una reunión online importante y ¡le encantaría ser la estrella del espectáculo! Prepárate para sus entusiastas carreras y su caótica ternura en el momento perfecto.

Nota médica: ¡Pikacha tiene un andar tambaleante! Por desgracia, parece que sufrió algunas fracturas en la cadera cuando era muy pequeña 💔 Como consecuencia, sus patas traseras se mueven de forma un poco diferente a la de la mayoría de los gatos. Esto no le impide correr ni jugar, salvo por cierta torpeza leve. Se podrían realizar más pruebas para determinar si una intervención quirúrgica podría ayudarla, pero Pikacha tiene ahora una buena calidad de vida y no hay garantías de que una intervención quirúrgica la mejore. Estaremos encantados de comentar los detalles con cualquier persona interesada en adoptar a esta maravillosa gatita.
Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Pikacha está actualmente en acogida como gatita única pero habría la posibilidad de formar pareja con alguno de los gatitos que están en acogida en otro hogar: si estuvieras interesad@ en dos, pregúntanos!
¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. A Pikacha le encantaría convivir con otros animales en casa; se lleva muy bien con los gatos y le encanta jugar. No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación a ella le encantaría.
Hogar ideal: Vivir con otro(s) gato(s) compatibles con cualquier tipo de familia, ya sea un(a) solter@, una pareja o un hogar con niños. Pikacha está disponible en adopción como el único animal en casa, aunque creemos que ella sería mucho más feliz si tuviera un(a) compi de juegos. Por favor, ten en cuenta que damos prioridad a personas ya con otr@ gat@ compatible residente o que adopten a una pareja. ¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre una ventaja!
