Personality: Pluma is a kitten who wants to be at the centre of the action. Whether it’s playing with toys, exploring, dinnertime, or cuddles on a lap, Pluma wants to be there. He loves people and is always the first to greet guests. Pluma is keen to be friends with everyone.

He is also a soft boy, in every way. Speaking literally, he has the softest fur of any kitten our experienced foster mum has had, and she loves giving him pets. She’s not the first to comment on it either, Pluma is silky silky silky ❤️ And he is soft-hearted and gentle in character, as well. Every morning the very first thing he wants is strokes and cuddles in your lap.

Pluma is visually impaired but you would never know it with how well he hunts toys and navigates his space. He enthusiastically throws himself into all activities. There’s really nothing he can’t do, and while we know that life dealt him a rough hand, he certainly doesn’t. He has suffered as a baby but that suffering is behind him, and everything in life is full of joy and fun and first experiences.

Pluma loves: people, his siblings, stealing paintbrushes 🎨😼 (He’s quite the artist!)

Pluma hates: being left out

If you’re looking for a kitten who is always ready to play or cuddle, and will make all your guests feel welcome in your home, then Pluma is for you 💞

Medical note: Pluma is part of a family who were severely affected by a common cat virus as very young kittens. It attacks the respiratory system and the eyes. In Pluma's case he has limited vision in both eyes. We are sure that he sees something, but we can't be certain how much. Blind or nearly-blind cats can lead very normal lives and he does not require any special care. He’s no risk to other cats.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: One of his siblings: Taylor, Chippo, Mars, Aurora or Mafalda.

Can Iive with kids? Yes! Because of his limited vision, we would consider personalities if we're speaking about very young children.

Can live with other animals? Yes! They haven't been around dogs but we see no issue with the right introductions.

Ideal home: Living with one of his siblings in any kind of home: a single person, couple, or a larger family with kids.

A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Pluma es un gatito que quiere ser el centro de la acción. Ya sea jugando con juguetes, explorando, a la hora de la cena o acurrucado en el regazo, Pluma quiere estar ahí. Le encanta la gente y siempre es el primero en saludar a los invitados. Pluma quiere ser amigo de todo el mundo.

También es un chico suave, en todos los sentidos. Literalmente, tiene el pelaje más suave de todos los gatitos que ha tocado su mamá de acogida (de mucha experiencia!), y le encanta acariciarlo. Ella no es la primera que lo comenta, Pluma es sedoso, sedoso, sedoso ❤️ Y también tiene un carácter suave y cariñoso. Cada mañana lo primero que quiere son caricias y mimos en tu regazo.

Pluma tiene visión limitada, pero nunca lo sabrías por lo bien que caza juguetes y navega por su espacio. Se entrega con entusiasmo a todas las actividades. No hay nada que no pueda hacer y, aunque sabemos que la vida le ha tratado mal, él no lo ve así. Ha sufrido como un bebé, pero ese sufrimiento ha quedado atrás, y todo en la vida está lleno de alegría y diversión y primeras experiencias.

Pluma adora: a la gente, a sus hermanos, robar pinceles 🎨😼 (es todo un artista)

Pluma odia: que le dejen de lado

Si buscas un gatito que siempre esté dispuesto a jugar o a acurrucarse, y que hará que todos tus invitados se sientan bienvenidos en tu hogar, Pluma es para ti 💞

Nota médica: Pluma procede de una familia que fue gravemente afectada por un virus felino común cuando eran gatitos muy jovencitos. Ataca el sistema respiratorio y los ojos. En el caso de Pluma, su visión en ambos ojos es limitada. Estamos segurxs que puede ver algo, pero no podemos estar segurxs de cuánto. Los gatos ciegos o casi ciegos pueden llevar una vida muy normal y no requieren ningún cuidado especial. Él no es un riesgo para otros gatos.

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Uno de sus hermanos: Taylor, Chippo, Mars, Aurora, o Mafalda.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí! Debido a su visión limitada, consideraríamos las personalidades de los niños si hablamos de niños muy pequeños.

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? ¡Sí! No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema. 

Hogar ideal: Vivir para siempre con un@ de sus hermanos, con una familia de cualquier tipo: un(a) solter@, pareja, o una familia más grande con niñ@s.
