Personality: Rufus is a little kitten who turns any moment into something soft and special 💓.
Just by looking at him, he starts his deep and sweet purring; and when you pet him, he lifts his little bottom with that enthusiasm that melts hearts. He loves rubbing up against you, as if to remind you how nice it is to be in good company.
He has a very sweet role within his family: his purring calms his little sisters and brings that feeling of “everything’s okay” that only calm kittens can transmit. He’s a little leader without pretensions, followed purely by affection 💞.
In play mode, Rufus is pure joy. The feather wand drives him crazy 🪶: he chases it, jumps, and does his adorable clumsy spins. Plus, his curiosity is endless; he’s always the first to approach when something makes a sound or when a door opens 👀✨.
His absolute weakness? Liquid snacks. He grabs them with both of his little front paws like they’re treasures, making sure no one steals them.
Rufus is very much a family cat: he loves sleeping curled up with his sisters. Even though the fuzzy bed is small and it seems impossible for them all to fit, they always manage to squeeze together into a warm, compact little pile, like pieces of the same puzzle made of fur and sighs 🧩 🥰.
His story began when we saw his mom, very pregnant, in early August. We couldn’t catch her in time, and we spent months searching for them in huge orchards, sometimes finding them in impossible places like underground pipes. We finally managed to rescue them, and now Rufus and his sisters are safe. His mom has been sterilized and is back in her colony, calm and secure 💖.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: his siblings (Stella, Cleopatra, or Bombón)
Can Iive with kids? Yes, with the necessary adjustments.
Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine.
Ideal home: Living with one of his siblings or other compatible cat(s) with any type of family, whether a single person, a couple, or a larger family. Please note that we give priority to people who already have another compatible cat living with them or who adopt a pair.
A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Rufus es un gatito que convierte cualquier momento en algo suave y especial 💓.
Con solo mirarlo, arranca su ronroneo profundo y dulce; y cuando lo acaricias, levanta su traserito con ese entusiasmo que derrite corazones. Le encanta frotarse contigo, como si así pudiera recordarte lo bien que se está en compañía.
Tiene un papel muy tierno dentro de su familia: su ronroneo calma a sus hermanitas y aporta esa sensación de “todo está bien” que solo los gatitos tranquilos saben transmitir. Es un pequeño líder sin pretensiones, seguido por puro cariño 💞.
En modo juego, Rufus es pura alegría. La caña con plumas lo vuelve loco 🪶: la persigue, salta y hace sus giros torpones encantadores. Además, su curiosidad es infinita; siempre es el primero en acercarse cuando suena algo o cuando una puerta se abre 👀✨.
¿Su debilidad absoluta? Los snacks líquidos. Los atrapa con sus dos patitas delanteras como si fueran un tesoro, asegurándose de que nadie se los quite.
Rufus es un chico muy de su familia: le encanta dormir acurrucadito con sus hermanas. Aunque la camita peluda sea pequeña y parezca imposible que quepan todos, siempre consiguen apretujarse hasta formar un montoncito cálido y compacto, como si fueran piezas de un mismo puzzle de pelito y suspiros 🧩 🥰.
Su historia empezó cuando vimos a su mamá, muy embarazada, a principios de agosto. No pudimos cogerla a tiempo y pasamos meses buscándolos por huertos enormes, encontrándolos a veces en lugares imposibles como tuberías subterráneas. Finalmente logramos rescatarlos, y ahora Rufus y sus hermanas están a salvo. Su mamá ya está esterilizada y de vuelta en su colonia, tranquila y segura 💖.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí, con la debida adaptación.
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. No se ha probado con perros, pero creemos que no habría ningún problema.
Hogar ideal: Vivir con uno de sus hermanos u otro(s) gato(s) compatible(s) con cualquier tipo de familia, ya sea un(a) solter@, una pareja o una familia más grande. Por favor, ten en cuenta que damos prioridad a personas ya con otr@ gat@ compatible residente o que adopten a una pareja.
