Personality: Sakura is the perfect balance between her two best sides: the sweet, cuddly kitten who starts purring just by looking at you ❤️ and her playful side, full of unexpected jumps that are sure to make you smile 😃

She’s a little explorer, always curious about everything around her. That curiosity might be what led her to wander the streets and end up in one of the cat colonies we manage.

You could say she's a real sweetheart wrapped in a fluffy cloth. Her fur is incredibly soft and makes her even more adorable. Those who meet her know: she’ll win you over with her gaze, her gentle touch, and the way she carries herself 😻

Very sociable with other cats, she's always eager to meet new friends. That’s exactly how she bonded with her best friend Kia, her foster buddy. Together they’re the dynamic duo, always ready for a chase or a game of hide-and-seek.

She’s the last one to arrive at the wet food bowl because she’s always off exploring every corner. But she runs over as soon as she hears her foster siblings start licking 😋

Sakura was found in one of the colonies we manage. She might be from a litter of a cat we haven’t been able to trap for spaying, or she could have gotten lost from a home. When she arrived, her right eye was already too damaged.

Medical note: Her right eye will need to be enucleated (surgically removed) when she turns 3 months old. She has no vision in that eye, and it causes her discomfort. This is due to a common feline virus that unfortunately affects the eyes. If we had found her just a few weeks earlier, we might have been able to treat it with eye drops. She will live a completely normal life and will not need any special care. It poses no risk to other cats.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: we recommend Kia, her foster companion. They make a great team. She also lives with César Quesito, who is also available for adoption.

Can Iive with kids? Yes, absolutely! She would do well with children of any age.

Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine.

Ideal home: She’d thrive living with her foster friend Kia or another cat, in any kind of family, be that with a single person, couple, or home with children. Please note that we give priority to adopters who already have a compatible resident cat or who adopt a pair. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Sakura es el equilibrio entre sus mejores dos versiones: la pequeña cariñosa que enciende su motor de ronroneo solo al mirarte ❤️ junto con esa faceta divertida en la que da brincos inesperados que te sacarán una sonrisa 😃

Una chica exploradora, siempre dispuesta a descubrir lo que pasa a su alrededor. Quizás fue eso lo que le llevó a vagar por la calle y llegar a una de las colonias felinas que controlamos.

Podríamos decir que es un trocito de pan envuelto con un trapo peludo. Su pelaje es de lo más esponjoso y todavía la hace más adorable. Quién la conoce lo sabe: te conquista con su mirada, su suavidad y la forma de desenvolverse 😻

Muy sociable con otros gatos, siempre quiere conocer a nuevos amigos. Así es como hizo su mejor amiga Kia: su compañera de acogida. Son el dúo dinámico, siempre dispuestas a hacer unas persecuciones y jugar al escondite.

Es la última en llegar al plato de comida húmeda, siempre está explorando los rincones. Corre a comer cuándo escucha los primeros lenguetazos de sus compañeros de acogida 😋

Sakura apareció en una de las colonias que gestionamos. Quizás es una camada de alguna gata que no hemos podido capturar para esterilizar, o se perdió de alguna casa. Cuándo llegó su ojo derecho ya estaba demasiado mal.

Nota médica: será necesario enuclear (extirpar) su ojo derecho cuándo cumpla los 3 meses de edad. No tiene visión en ese ojo y le preoduce malestar. Esto se debe a un virus común de los gatos que lamentablemente ataca a los ojos. Si hubieramos podido cogerla unas semanas antes, posiblemente con un colirio hubieramos podido curarla. Llevará una vida normal y no requiere cuidados especiales. No es ningún riesgo para otros gatos.

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Kia, su compañera de acogida, forman un buen aquipo. También convive con César Quesito, también disponible en adopción.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí, por supuesto. Estaría bien con niños de cualquier edad.

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema. 

Hogar ideal: Vivir con su compañera de acogida Kia u otro gato con cualquier tipo de familia, ya sea un(a) solter@, una pareja o un hogar con niños. Por favor, ten en cuenta que damos prioridad a personas ya con otr@ gat@ compatible residente o que adopten a una pareja.
