Personality: Salem is a very playful, curious and cuddly kitten…but the entire world stops the second he hears the sound of the refrigerator opening! He is very food motivated and is always first in line for dinner. He purrs and rubs along your legs until his plate is placed down. You could set a clock to his meows for dinner!
He can point out all the nooks and crannies in every room— having already investigated each small place, every high place, and all the objects you meant to hide away. He has incredible creativity and can make a toy out of anything— including balls of paper and plastic bottle caps. He also loves to play hide and go seek with his foster family!
He is a little rag doll and lets you kiss him, pick him up, roll him over, all without batting an eye. He’s a very good mannered boy. He is a perfect cat for families with children because he will always be playing with them and is never aggressive.
He is an absolute delight of a cat and he will always keep you laughing because you’ll be sure to find him surprising you in the most unexpected places! Particularly the shower… this is a new one for us, believe me! He enjoys catching the water as it falls and has a blast playing in the shower while his foster parents try to get ready for work.
Loves: he really likes to play with all kinds of toys or objects, although his favorites are those that move, for example, feathers tied to a rope. Salem likes to be in the company of other cats. His favorite activity is to play with his siblings or just hanging out with them watching the clouds.
Dislikes: Depending on the type of food, he is somewhat reluctant to try new things.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: One of his siblings, Belle or Besti.
Can Iive with kids? Yes
Can live with other animals? Yes! The colony that he came from regularly had two dogs hanging around and he was always very fond of them. Dogs or cats, alike, he would do great with another animal pal!
Ideal home: In a family with a lot of love, attention, and time to give. Kids would be a great match for little Salem!
A balcony or terrace is always a plus! We give priority to applicants who are interested in adopting siblings together or with a resident pet in need of a pal.
Medical Note: All of our cat adoptions include Test FIV Felv, 2x vaccinations, treated for parasites internally and externally, chip when adopted, cartilla, and desexing when of age. Salem has already completed all of these while in foster and is only waiting to register his chip with his new parent!
Personalidad: Salem es un gatito muy juguetón, curioso y mimoso. Aunque puede dejar lo que este haciendo si oye el sonido de la nevera abriendose. Siempre busca lugares donde pueda saciar su curiosidad investigando, pequeños sitios donde entrar o lugares un poco más altos donde encontrar objetos con los que divertirse. Si ve que otro de los gatos va a por comida el no será menos, también querrá su ración, y por ella, no se despegara de tus piernas mientras ronronea para llamar tu atención. Se deja hacer absolutamente de todo sin apenas inmutarse, cogerlo, tumbarlo, besarlo, etc.
Puede señalar todos los rincones y grietas en cada habitación, ya que ha investigado cada lugar pequeño, cada lugar alto y todos los objetos que pretendías esconder. Tiene una creatividad increíble y puede hacer un juguete con cualquier cosa, incluidas bolas de papel y tapas de botellas de plástico. ¡También le encanta jugar al escondite con su familia adoptiva!
Le gusta estar en compañia de otros gatos para jugar, dormir o simplemente vagear un rato. Es un gato perfecto para familias con hijos porque siempre estará jugando con ellos. Es todo un encanto, y siempre te dará momentos divertidos cuando le veas metido en lugares inesperados y nunca es agresivo.
¡Es una delicia absoluto de un gato y siempre te hará reír porque seguramente lo encontrarás sorprendiéndote en los lugares más inesperados! Particularmente la ducha… ¡ésta es nueva para nosotros, créanme! Le gusta atrapar el agua cuando cae y se divierte mucho jugando en la ducha mientras sus padres adoptivos intentan prepararse para el trabajo.
Le encanta: Le gusta mucho jugar con todo tipo de juguetes u objetos, aunque sus preferidas son las que que se mueven como por ejemplo las plumas atadas a una cuerda y que la persona las mueva bastante.
No le gusta: Según qué tipo de comidas es algo reacio a probarlas, aunque si te ve comiendo, intentará alcanzar la comida para olerla de cerca.
Si adopta en pareja le recomendamos: Uno de sus hermanos, Belle o Besti.
Puede vivir con niños? Sí
Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí! La colonia de la que venía regularmente tenía dos perros dando vueltas y siempre los quería mucho. Perros o gatos, por igual, le iría genial con otro amigo animal!
Hogar ideal: En una familia con mucho amor, atención y tiempo para dar. Los niños serían una gran combinación para el pequeño Salem!
Un balcón o terraza siempre es un plus! Damos prioridad a los solicitantes que estén interesados en adoptar hermanos juntos o con una mascota residente que necesite un amigo.
Nota Médica: Todas nuestras adopciones de gatos incluyen Test FIV Felv, vacunas 2x, desparasitación interna y externa, chip en adopción, cartilla y castración en edad adulta. ¡Salem ya completó todos estos mientras estaba en crianza temporal y solo está esperando registrar su chip con su nueva familia!
