Personality: Shila is an absolute vibe. She's so easy to fall in love with, and wins hearts everywhere she goes. She's got a wonderfully balanced personality: equal parts chill, playful and patient. She's very affectionate and easygoing, also loves playing, and is super well-behaved but she's not a pushover - she can really ramp it up at play time and surprise her foster brother Tintin with an attack. She is also cuddly and you only need to touch her once or twice and she kicks her purr machine into high gear and won't stop for anything ❤
You can see from her photos that Shila has the most hilariously worried face EVER. Her foster parents like to entertain themselves by making up a voice for her and saying things like "Guuuys have you seen the electricity prices this weekend?" 😹 Her temperament doesn't match her face but it's just the cutest thing. She is also not the world's most agile kitten and her attempts at climbing and jumping are sweet and hilarious. She really does try! Just...it's not her thing, OK?
Shila is a curious girl, and when faced with new situations she’s the first one to explore and foster brother Tintin follows her lead. Once he gains his confidence, they switch and she moves to be more the follower. She will play with any toy you give her, and has a cute habit where she’ll catch a wand or string toy and will try to run away with it. She even climbed some boxes in order to steal her favourite toy! (We won't speak about how graceful or not she was whilst doing that 😹)
She enjoys being in human company, and also has moments of independence where she will take herself to her bed or a bedroom for a nap and some Shila time. She can also be found napping or purring up a storm at the vet - just an easy girl, a sweet girl, a funny girl.
Shila and foster brother Tintin met in their foster home and they have a lovely dynamic. They have quite different personalities but you will often find them together, and if they lose track of one another there will be some sweet meows to track each other down again. A lot of their adventuring is done together, like looking through the windows, discovering new spaces, and of course playing. That said, we are open to them going separately to their forever homes wherever best fits with their personalities.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: her foster brother Tintin. They get along well together and have a good balance of personalities between them.
Can Iive with kids? Yes
Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think she'd be fine. She's very interested in other cats and is respectful about getting to know them on their timeline.
Ideal home: With her foster brother Tintin, in any kind of home - a single person, couple or bigger family.
A balcony or terrace is always a plus! We give priority to people applying who are interested in adopting siblings together. We also love the idea of a family looking for a friend or playmate for their resident cat.

Personalidad: Shila es una vibra absoluta. Es muy fácil enamorarse de ella y gana corazones donde quiera que vaya. Tiene una personalidad maravillosamente equilibrada: partes iguales tranquila, juguetona y paciente. Es muy cariñosa y tolerante, también le encanta jugar y se porta muy bien, pero no es toda tranquilidad: realmente puede llegar con fuerza a la hora de jugar y sorprender a su hermano de acogida Tintin con un ataque. Shila también es tierna y solo necesitas tocarla una o dos veces y ella enciende su máquina de ronroneos a toda velocidad y no se detiene por nada ❤
Puedes ver en sus fotos que Shila tiene la cara más hilarantemente preocupada de TODOS LOS TIEMPOS. A sus papis de acogida les gusta entretenerse inventando una voz para ella y diciendo cosas como "Chicos, ¿habéis visto los precios de la luz este fin de semana?" 😹 Su temperamento no va con su cara y es la más linda. Tampoco es la gatita más ágil del mundo y sus intentos de escalar y saltar son dulces e hilarantes. ¡Ella realmente lo intenta! Solo... no es lo suyo, ¿de acuerdo?
Shila es una chica curiosa, y cuando se enfrenta a situaciones nuevas, es la primera en explorar y su hermano de acogida Tintin sigue su ejemplo. Una vez que él gana su confianza, cambian y ella pasa a ser más la seguidora. Juega con cualquier juguete que le des, y tiene la linda costumbre de atrapar una cuerda o un juguete con caña e intentar huir con él. ¡Incluso trepó algunas cajas para robar su juguete favorito! (No hablamos de lo elegante o no que era mientras hacía eso 😹)
Le gusta estar en compañía humana, y también tiene momentos de independencia en los que se lleva a sí misma a su cama o a una habitación para tomar una siesta y pasar un rato. También se la puedes encontrar durmiendo la siesta o ronroneando en el veterinario: una chica fácil, una chica dulce, una chica divertida.
Shila y su hermano de acogida Tintin se conocieron en su casa de acogida y tienen una dinámica encantadora. Tienen personalidades bastante diferentes, pero a menudo los encontrarás juntos, y si se pierden el uno a la otra, habrá algunos dulces maullidos para encontrarse nuevamente. Muchas de sus aventuras las hacen juntos, como mirar a través de las ventanas, descubrir nuevos espacios y, por supuesto, jugar. Dicho esto, estamos abiertas a que vayan por separado a sus hogares definitivos donde mejor se adapte a sus personalidades.
Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Su hermano de acogida, Tintin. Se llevan bien y tienen un buen equilibrio de personalidades entre ellos.
¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. Sin probar con perros pero no prevemos ningún problema. Está muy interesada en otros gatos y es respetuosa al conocerlos cuando estén listos.
Hogar ideal: Con su hermano de acogida Tintin, en cualquier tipo de familia - con un solter@, una pareja, o una familia más grande.
¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre un plus! Damos prioridad a las personas que estén interesadas en adoptar hermanos juntos. También nos encanta la idea de una familia que busque una amiga o compañera de juegos para su gat@ residente.
