Personality: Oooooh Sidney 🤍🖤🤍 Sidney is a forever sad-looking boy but it’s just a facade (and his markings don’t help, since they make it look like his mum cuts his hair 😹). He is a total clown at heart, a sweet, sensitive, silly goofball who is endlessly playful, full of silly antics, and has a deep love for his siblings. A classic little brother, Sidney is always ready for a game of wrestle-and-chase, especially with his patient and gentle sisters. His “sneak attack” style — usually a surprise pounce from behind — is his way of asking, “Wanna play?”

Despite his occasional bursts of bravado, Sidney is actually a soft-hearted, beta-type kitten. He draws courage from those around him, especially Minnie, who’s his idol and emotional support. Wherever she goes he will follow - although as a less gregarious personality you can tell that he is about to poop his pants out of fear while roaming after her into the unknown! If he ever can’t find her or gets spooked, he’ll call out for Minnie, and she’ll sprint over to comfort him.

He may be a small boy but he does enjoy climbing and scaling new great heights. The new Olympic wall-climbing sport which is so impressive? Sidney would be a natural. He is an aspiring mountaineer and especially enjoys a nap in high-up spots. If you’re wondering whether your tall cat furniture will get used, wonder no more!

If asked to provide a review of his foster home, Sidney would definitely give five stars for the food. He is a huge connoisseur and loves absolutely anything that you offer him. Sidney looooooves treats and dances around his foster mum when she brings in his wet food meals. He has a weakness for Churus - he will climb any mountain for them and push anyone out of the way to get just one more lick 😋

At his core, Sidney is a tender-hearted little guy and a second-in-command kind of kitten who thrives with companionship and guidance. He’d do beautifully in a home with a confident resident cat (or dog!) to learn from, or adopted alongside Minnie, his fearless sister and best friend. His courage is directly correlated to this kind of comforting presence. He’s funny, gentle, and growing braver every day — an easy kitten to fall in love with.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: One of his sisters, Minnie or Jemima. Ideally Minnie.

Can Iive with kids? Sidney would prefer to live with adults or calmer teenagers to begin with, though there would be no issue with children in the future.

Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we’re sure he'd be fine with the right introductions.

Ideal home: Living with one of his sisters or with another compatible cat, in a more quiet family, perhaps a single person or couple.

Please note that we give priority to people with another compatible cat or adopting a pair of kittens.

A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Oooooh Sidney 🤍🖤🤍 Sidney es un chico que siempre parece triste, pero solo es una fachada (sus marcas no ayudan, ya que parecen como si su madre le cortara el pelo 😹). En el fondo es un payaso, un tonto dulce, sensible y divertido que es infinitamente juguetón, lleno de travesuras y que ama profundamente a sus hermanas. Sidney, el clásico hermanito pequeño, siempre está dispuesto a jugar a la lucha y a las persecuciones, especialmente con sus pacientes y gentiles hermanas. Su estilo de “ataque por sorpresa,” que suele consistir en un salto inesperado por detrás, es su forma de preguntar: “¿Quieres jugar?”

A pesar de sus ocasionales arrebatos de bravuconería, Sidney es en realidad un gatito de corazón blando y tipo beta. Se inspira en quienes le rodean, especialmente en Minnie, que es su ídolo y su apoyo emocional. Dondequiera que ella vaya, él la seguirá, aunque, como tiene una personalidad menos aventurera, se nota que está a punto de hacerse caca encima del miedo mientras la sigue hacia lo desconocido. Si alguna vez no la encuentra o se asusta, la llama y ella acude corriendo para consolarlo.

Puede que sea un niño pequeño, pero le encanta trepar y escalar nuevas alturas. ¿El nuevo deporte olímpico de escalada en pared que es tan impresionante? Sidney sería un talento natural. Es un aspirante a alpinista y le encanta echarse la siesta en lugares altos. Si te preguntas si tu mueble para gatos alto se utilizará, ¡no lo dudes más!

Si le pidieran que hiciera una reseña de su hogar de acogida, Sidney sin duda le daría cinco estrellas a la comida. Es un gran conocedor y le encanta absolutamente todo lo que le ofreces. A Sidney le encantan las golosinas y baila alrededor de su madre de acogida cuando ella le trae su comida húmeda. Tiene debilidad por los Churus: escalaría cualquier montaña por ellos y empujaría a cualquiera para conseguir solo un lametón más 😋

En el fondo, Sidney es un gatito tierno y un segundo al mando que prospera con compañía y orientación. Le iría muy bien en un hogar con un gato (o perro!) residente seguro de sí mismo del que aprender, o adoptado junto a Minnie, su intrépida hermana y mejor amiga. Su valentía está directamente relacionada con este tipo de presencia reconfortante. Es divertido, gentil y cada día más valiente, un gatito del que es fácil enamorarse.

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Una de sus hermanas, Minnie o Jemima. Idealmente con Minnie.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sidney preferiría vivir con adultos o adolescentes más tranquilos para empezar, aunque no habría ningún problema en convivir con niños en el futuro.

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema. 

Hogar ideal: Vivir con una de sus hermanas u otro(s) gato(s) compatible(s) con una familia más tranquila, quizás un(a) solter@ o una pareja.
