Personality: Sophia is a fearless kitten, and brave. She has stared death in the face several times after her very difficult start in life but has pushed it firmly away and is insistent that she is here to stay! There are too many things to climb and explore and chase. She needs way more than a few months to do it 😸 She is now happy and healthy, and living her best life.
Behind this sweet little face lies a great hunter, you wouldn't know she was blind as she chases balls, leaps after wand toys, and stalks her siblings. She also runs in a funny zigzag which will make you smile every time. Her current favourite place to play is inside a cat tunnel, and she often falls asleep in there when she's worn out.
The other place Sophia likes to fall asleep is in your lap. She loves humans and will start purring as soon as she finds one. She adores being petted, and getting stroked under her chin is a particular favourite. She's won over by feeling, not food, and currently loves her foster dad just a bit more than her foster mum even though it's mum who feeds her 🤭
Sophia is a clever girl, a sweet girl, and a girl with passion for life. Her blindness doesn't stop her from doing anything, and she's an absolute joy to be around. Her unbreakable spirit will brighten your days and remind you that life has no limits. Sophia is your future adventure pal, ready for an exciting journey together filled with love and joy.
Medical note: Sophia is part of a family who were severely affected by a common cat virus as very young kittens. It attacks the respiratory system and the eyes. In Sophia's case she has had both eyes removed and is therefore blind. Blind cats lead very normal lives and she doesn't require any special care. Nor does she have any ongoing health concerns, just a rough start in life. She is not a risk to other cats.
If adopting as a pair we recommend: Mighty, Venus or Pluma.

Can Iive with kids? Yes. Though because she's blind, it would depend on their personalities if we're speaking about young children.
Can live with other animals? Yes! They haven't been around dogs but we see no issue with the right introductions.
Ideal home: Living with one of their siblings or another compatible cat in any kind of home: a single person, couple, or a larger family with kids.
A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Sophia es una gatita intrépida y valiente. Ella ha mirado a la muerte cara a cara varias veces después de su difícil comienzo en la vida, pero la ha alejado firmemente e insiste en que está aquí para quedarse. Hay demasiadas cosas para escalar, explorar y perseguir. Necesita mucho más que unos pocos meses para hacerlo 😸 Ahora está feliz y saludable, y viviendo su mejor vida.
Detrás de esta dulce carita se esconde una gran cazadora; no sabrías que es ciegüita mientras persigue pelotas, salta hacia juguetes de plumas o cuerda, y persigue a sus hermanos. También corre en un divertido zigzag que te hará sonreír en todo momento. Su lugar favorito actual para jugar es dentro de un túnel para gatos, y a menudo se queda dormida allí cuando está agotada.
El otro sitio donde a Sophia le gusta quedarse dormida es en tu regazo. Ama a los humanos y comenzará a ronronear tan pronto como encuentre uno. Le encanta que le des mimos, y que le acaricies debajo de la barbilla es uno de sus favoritos. La ganas a través de los sentimientos, no con la comida, y actualmente ama a su papi de acogida un poquito más que a su mami de acogida, aunque es ella quien la alimenta 🤭
Sophia es una chiquitina inteligente, una chiquitina dulce, y una chiquitina apasionada por la vida. Su ceguera no le impide hacer nada y es un placer estar cerca de ella. Su espíritu inquebrantable iluminará tus días y te recordará que la vida no tiene límites. Sophia es tu futura amiga de aventuras, lista para un emocionante viaje juntxs, lleno de amor y alegría.
Nota médica: Sophia procede de una familia que fue gravemente afectada por un virus felino común cuando eran gatitos muy jovencitos. Ataca el sistema respiratorio y los ojos. En el caso de Sophia le extirparon ambos ojos y es ciegüita. Los gatos ciegos o llevan una vida muy normal y no requieren ningún cuidado especial. Ella tampoco tiene tiene problemas de salud continuos, solo tuvo un empiezo duro a la vida. No es ningún riesgo para otros gatos.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí, aunque por ser ciegüita, si hablamos de niños pequeños dependería de sus personalidades.
¿Puede vivir con otros animales? ¡Sí! No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema.
Hogar ideal:? Vivir para siempre con un@ de sus hermanos u otr@ gat@ compatible, con una familia de cualquier tipo: un(a) solter@, pareja, o una familia más grande con niñ@s.
