Personality: Taylor, the floor sofa diva! Meet Taylor, a true star in her own little feline world. Does it make you think of any other Taylor? 🤔 Taylor has a knack for making any corner of the home, especially her floor mattress, look like she’s lounging on a luxurious sofa. She's like a kitten interior designer! Despite her blindness, this girl is unrivalled when it comes to comfort and style. When you get up close and personal with Taylor, she'll dazzle you with her belly and an affection-seeking show worthy of a standing ovation. “Pat me please, ladies and gentlemen!”

This little Miss is the bold one of the group, the kitten who leads the games and is ready for any new experience. She’s keen to know everything that's going on around her, whether it involves her or not. She is also a lady of simple pleasures. She may have a lot of toys at her pawtips, but a simple paper ball drives her crazy. Just by listening out for the noise it makes when it hits the ground, she doesn’t need to rely on 20/20 vision for a successful hunt 😼 She knows immediately where it's gone, she’ll trap it, and carry off the prize in her mouth. There is a Taylor-shaped hole in one of the national football teams, for sure! 😹 She also has a flying butterfly toy which she can easily hunt down and catch, while her siblings firstly monitor her success from a distance before joining in. Her best playmate is her brother Chippo, they share a similar energy and a more intense play. They’ve got a cute little relationship.

Taylor has a highly developed sense of smell and knows full well when something tasty is cooking. When it comes to handing out treats, she is the fastest and will try to eat her portion and may also try her luck with her siblings’ share: who doesn’t need a fabulous and funny "feline vacuum cleaner" around the house? She’s also an excellent work companion. While you’re in front of the computer she’ll try to make room in your lap and loves to use one of your arms as a support to cuddle up to. Not to worry if work actually needs to get done, though: you can relocate her to her nearby furry cat bed which she adores and she’ll keep you company from a slight distance. She’ll happily make biscuits and settle in for her work shift ❤️

Taylor is a kissy girl, a cuddly girl, and a true queen of comedy and elegance. She’s perfectly ready to make you laugh and brighten up your day.

Medical note: Taylor is part of a family who were severely affected by a common cat virus as very young kittens. It attacks the respiratory system and the eyes. In Taylor's case she has had one eye removed and has limited to no vision in her other eye. It isn't clear if she is completely blind or sees some shadows. For the moment the vets recommend we do not remove her second eye, but if she were to experience infections or problems we would review that decision and the surgical cost would be covered by Gatalunya. Blind or nearly-blind cats can lead very normal lives! She is not a risk to other cats.

If adopting as a pair we recommend: One of her siblings: Chippo, Mars, Pluma, Mafalda or Aurora. She has a special connection with Chippo.

Can Iive with kids? Yes. Though because she's blind or nearly-blind, it would depend on their personalities if we're speaking about young children.

Can live with other animals? Yes! They haven't been around dogs but we see no issue with the right introductions.

Ideal home: Living with one of her siblings in any kind of home: a single person, couple, or a larger family with kids.

A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Conoce a Taylor, una verdadera estrella en su propio mundo felino. ¿Te hace pensar en alguna otra Taylor? 🤔 Taylor tiene un talento especial para convertir cualquier rincón, especialmente su colchón en el suelo, en un sofá de lujo. ¡Es como una diseñadora de interiores gatuna! A pesar de su ceguera, esta gatita no tiene rival cuando se trata de comodidad y estilo. Acércate a Taylor, y te deslumbrará con su barriguita y un espectáculo de mimos digno de un aplauso de pie. "¡Denme una palmadita, por favor, damas y caballeros!"

Esta pequeña Señorita es la atrevida del grupo, la que encabeza los juegos y está lista para cualquier nueva experiencia. Tiene que enterarse de todo lo que sucede a su alrededor, sea o no el asunto con ella. También es una amante de los placeres sencillos. Puede tener muchos juguetes a su alcance, pero una simple bola de papel la vuelve loca. Solo escuchar el ruido que hace al caer al suelo, ella no necesita visión perfecta para cazarla con éxito 😼 Sabe dónde ha ido, la atrapará y transportará el premio con la boca. ¡Seguro que hay un hueco en forma de Taylor en una de las selecciones nacionales de fútbol! 😹 También tiene un juguete que consiste en una mariposa voladora y la atrapa fácilmente, mientras que sus hermanos se lo vigilan primeramente desde la distancia. Su mejor compi de juegos es su hermano Chippo, comparten una energía parecida y un juego más intenso. Saben bien como compenetrarse.

Taylor tiene un olfato muy desarrollado y sabe perfectamente cuándo algo rico se está cocinando. A la hora de repartir chuches, es la más veloz e intentará comerse su ración, aunque también puede probar suerte con la parte de sus hermanos: ¿quién no necesita una fabulosa y divertida "aspiradora felina" por casa? También es una excelente compañera de trabajo. Mientras estés delante del ordenador, intentará hacerse hueco en tu regazo y querrá usar uno de tus brazos como apoyo para acurrucarse. Pero no te preocupes si tienes que trabajar: podrás reubicarla a su camita peluda, que tanto adora, y te hará compañía desde la distancia corta. Estará encantada de hacer croquetas y acomodarse para su turno de trabajo ❤️

Taylor es una besucona, una chica mimosa y una auténtica reina de la comedia y la elegancia. Está perfectamente lista para hacerte reír y alegrar tu día.

Nota médica: Taylor procede de una familia que fue gravemente afectada por un virus felino común cuando eran gatitos muy jovencitos. Ataca el sistema respiratorio y los ojos. En el caso de Taylor le extirparon un ojo y su visión en el otro ojo es limitada o nula. No está claro si está completamente ciega o ve algunas sombras. Por el momento los veterinarios recomiendan que no le extraigamos el segundo ojo, pero si tuviera infecciones o problemas revisaríamos esa decisión y el coste quirúrgico lo cubriría Gatalunya. Los gatos ciegos o casi ciegos pueden llevar una vida muy normal! Ella no es un riesgo para otros gatos.

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Uno de sus hermanos: Chippo, Mars, Pluma, Mafalda o Aurora. Tiene una conexión especial con Chippo.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí, aunque por ser ciega o casi ciega, si hablamos de niños pequeños dependería de sus personalidades.

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? ¡Sí! No se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema. 

Hogar ideal? Vivir para siempre con un@ de sus hermanos, con una familia de cualquier tipo: un(a) solter@, pareja, o una familia más grande con niñ@s.
