Personality: Who is Tilda? She’s a little kitty with a gift for resilience and for forming a special bond with other cats ✨ If you already have a cat at home, she would definitely become their best friend. She lives with other foster cats, and they all spoil her like she’s the little sister (and she loves being adored!). Tilda learns from them, and thanks to that, with patience, she’s gradually building trust with people.

She’ll follow you around the house, and she’s very curious when you lock yourself in the bathroom 🛁 What could be going on in there? She always waits at the door and peeks in as soon as it opens. She’s also a big fan of cleaning time—chasing the broom is super entertaining to her 🧹 though she hasn’t quite figured out how to use it to help us out yet, haha.

She loves high places, exploring everything around her (she’s a bit nosy), and she’s lightning fast when it comes to grabbing her favorite treats—but she’ll never fight her furry friends for her share; she’ll happily let them have it.

Her two favorite things in the world:

  1. Licks and kisses from her furry foster siblings 😽

  2. Sunbathing on the balcony (no matter how hot it is) ☀️

Tilda isn’t meant for just any family—she’s for that truly special one: respectful, patient, and willing to give her the space, time, and dedication she needs to show her true self. She’s not 100% confident with humans yet, likely because of a rough experience on the streets. She might hang out nearby, sniff you, or sleep in the same bed, but she prefers to keep some distance. The only time she seeks out physical contact is when she’s sleepy—that’s when she enjoys some gentle head rubs (and her expression of bliss says it all).

If you’re a home with patience, experience with socializing shy cats, or simply want to give a chance to a kitty who might be overlooked—consider adopting her.

Tilda showed up alone in one of the colonies we manage—no siblings, no mom. The tip of her tail was broken, and it took us weeks to catch her (she was very skittish and terrified of people) 💔 By the time we rescued her, that part of her tail had already fallen off, leaving her with a shorter tail—but it doesn’t affect her at all. She lives a completely normal life.

At the time, she looked like she was about 3.5 to 4 months old due to her tiny size—but surprise! After a vet check-up, we found out she was actually 6 months old. That’s why her socialization with people needs more work—but she’s made huge progress in recent months ❤️

So, Tilda is an XXS-sized girl, and as a Catalan saying goes: "Good things come in small jars."

If adopting as a pair we recommend: She lives with other foster cats like Bruce and Lupito, but her best friend is William.

Can Iive with kids? We believe she would prefer a home with adults or older teens.


Can live with other animals? Yes! She hasn't been tested with dogs, but with proper introductions, we believe there shouldn't be any issues.


Ideal home: A calm and dedicated family who respects her pace. A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: ¿Quién es Tilda? Es una  gatita con un don para la superación y para desarrollar una conexión especial con otros michis ✨ Si tienes otro gato en casa, definitivamente ella se convertiría en su mejor amiga. Convive con otros gatos de acogida y todos la miman como si fuera la hermana pequeña (¡y a ella le encanta ser adorada!). Tilda aprende de ellos y por eso, con paciencia, avanza la relación con las personas.

Ella te sigue por diferentes partes de la casa, incluso está muy interesada cuándo te encierras en el baño 🛁 ¿qué estará pasando allí dentro? Te espera siempre en la puerta y asomándose una vez se abre la puerta. También muy fan del momento limpieza, perseguir la escoba le parece entretenido 🧹 eso sí, todavía no ha aprendido a usarla para echarnos una mano jaja.

Le gustan las alturas, explorar todo lo de su alrededor (es un poco cotilla), veloz a la hora de conseguir sus chuches favoritas, pero jamás peleará con sus compañeros peludos para conseguir su ración, siempre la cederá con gusto.

Las dos cosas que más adora:

1) Los lametones y besitos de sus compañeros peludos de acogida 😽

2) Tomar el sol en el balcón (no importa cuánto calor haga) ☀️

Tilda no es para cualquier familia, es para aquella familia auténticamente especial: respetuosa, ofreciendo espacio, tiempo y dedicación para poder mostrar su interior.  Todavía no confía al 100% con las personas ya que probablemente tuvo alguna mala experiencia en la calle. Podrá estar cerca de ti, olfatearte, dormir en la misma cama, pero prefiere mantener la distancia. El momento en el que tomará el contacto físico es cuándo esté somnolienta, donde agradece unas caricias en su cabeza (y es que su cara de placer lo dice todo).

Si eres ese hogar con paciencia o que has tratado con gatos en proceso de sociabilización, o simplemente quieres darle hogar a una gatita con menos posibilidades, piensa en adoptarla.

 

Tilda apareció en una de las colonias que gestionamos, sola, sin hermanos, sin mamá. Tenía el extremo de la cola roto, así que dedicamos semanas hasta que pudimos capturarla (era muy escurridiza y tenía mucho miedo al ver cualquier persona) 💔 En ese momento, ese trocito de la cola ya había caído y le ha quedado una colita más corta, pero eso no tiene ninguna repercusión, hace vida completamente normal.

En ese momento aparentaba tener unos 3,5 - 4 meses de vida por su diminuto tamaño, pero ¡sorpresa! tras ser valorada por el veterinario con confirmaron que tenía 6. Por ese motivo, la socialización con las personas necesita más dedicación, pero ha hecho grandes avances estos últimos meses ❤️

Así que Tilda es una chica con tamaño XXS, y como dice un refrán catalán: "en el bote pequeño está la buena confitura".


Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Convive con otros gatos en acogida como Bruce y Lupito, pero su mejor amigo es William.


¿Puede vivir con niños? Creemos que preferiría más una familia de adultos o jóvenes.


¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí, no se ha probado con perros pero creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema.

Hogar ideal: Vivir en una familia tranquila y dedicada, respetando sus tiempos. ¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre una ventaja!
